Ekolo

Ive been shopping here since it moved this location so for long now, best place in town to get ecologically produced and plant based food, drinks and more, it has everything you need to stay alive!

From Ekolo you can also get with 1 euro organic, fair-trade coffee or tea while sitting on their cozy sofas and e.g. reading the books and journals they have to offer. You also get vegan milk if you want to in your coffee, which is a huge plus, since you rarely get it anywhere else in Jyväskylä.

When passed by I just went in to have a look at the shop. I had visited Ekolo shops in Helsinki and this was as good as they are. They had plenty of variety and the young sales lady was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, ready to tell about the products and give suggestions when asked. I really enjoyed our chat and bought more than I intended just because of her. I agree, very good and warm atmosphere. Items nicely displayed, enough light in the shop. Excellent!

I've been a regular customer at Ekolo for many years, and will be for the years to come. Kind and knowing stuff, extremely good offerings, it has everything you need. Some of the prices are kinda high, but so is everything in Finland. If you somehow find yourself in Jyväskylä, and are in need of vegan food supplies, organic teas, cosmetics or some rice milk chocolate, Ekolo has it all!

Situated inside the shopping mall "Jyväskeskus", if you go in from the entrance next to McDonalds or H&M, walk straight past the Submarine restaurant and you'll find Ekolo on your left.
