Serves meat, vegan options available. Egyptian food cafe nestled by the Münsterplatz. Offers many vegetable dishes, including a spicy okra stew with rice, koshari lentil dish with spicy tomato sauce and fried onions, falafel, tahini sauce dip with flat bread, chick pea soup. The lentil soup is made with milk but is sometimes vegan - ask. Meals come with a complementary spiced mocha. Open Mon-Sat 12:00pm-8:00pm.

Perhaps this has changed since it was originally added, but this is vegetarian/vegan now. Written in big letters at the top of the restaurant window.
Nice. Had delicious spiced Egyptian lentil soup as starter. Falafels decent.

Ulm's hidden gem! - Edit
The maximum number of stars one can give a non-veg restaurant on this site is four - but I would give this place ten stars if I could. The food is delicious, the atmosphere charming and cosy, and the owner is lovely and super friendly. I've tried everything that's vegan on the menu, and it is all delicious, but my personal favourite dishes are the falafel plate with tahina sauce, and the okra stew. Also try the karkade - a sweet hibiscus tea. For dessert try a sweet couscous dish with nuts and a spiced mocha.
Pros: excellent food, good value, friendly staff
