Ich habe das vegane Holunderblüten Eis gehabt und durfte vorher sogar erst einmal probieren, bevor ich mich entschieden habe. Richtig erfrischend! Mein Freund hatte dunkle Schokolade, das war genau das richtige für Schokoladenfans!

We just ordered three different flavours and all were really tasty. The caramel crumble was lovely to see on a menu but the Elderflower (Holunderblüte) was my favourite. The chocolate was a creamier version of dark chocolate which I also enjoyed.

Eis Greissler isn’t cheap (hardly any ice cream in Salzburg is) but definitely worth the cost! what I especially love is that they’ll put two flavours into one scoop in case you can’t decide. I tried Caramel Crunch and Banana-Chocolate and while both were delicious (and the banana one was creamier than usual Sorbets) the Caramel one really struck out! loved it!

As mentioned in previous reviews round about half of the flavours are vegan and clearly labeled as such. I had one scoop with caramel-crumble flavour and it tasted very good! Judging by the reviews of other ice cream stores this seems to be the best of the bunch in Salzburg.

There were many fruity options and a vegan chocolate option. I chose peach rosemary and I can absolutely not recommend. But maybe that was just a wild mix and the rest is good :D

Delicious ice cream! - Edit
I've already tried this ice cream in Linz and in Klagenfurt last August, and this parlour had also very good flavours! Mine was oat with chai tea and something else, my hubby got red berries with something else (lol), but both approved as always. The ice creams are light, natural, homemade, and really delicious. I always got them with the waffle cone (also vegan, crunchy and tasty), I don't produce any garbage to the environment (the disposable cutlery and cups are made of paper, but we don't need that anyway).

You find Eis Greissler in several austrian cities. You can taste that their icecream is always homemade and with natural ingredients - delicious! Vegan icecreams are clearly marked!
