Great variety! - Edit
A good variety of starters and mains, including vegan pizzas. Mediterranean style dishes. I had a really nice pasta dish. The veg was fresh and the sauce was flavourful. Extensive cocktail menu as well!

Absolutely delicious - Edit
Was so surprised I was offered a vegan menu so I didn't have to work out what I could have, also the vegan menu had many extra things on it, not just the things on the main menu. Really recommend.

Surprisingly good!!! - Edit
Really enjoyed my 2 meals here on separate occasions. Had the tofu skewers with flatbreads and the chickepea fritters the other time. Both tasty and fresh tasting! Nice option if eating out with non vegans

Not great - Edit
Usually fairly safe with the chain restaurants, however the veg options weren’t great here. I had hummus/pitta starter. Tiny pot of hummus, a pitta and a few slices of pepper and cucumber, very poor value and very disappointing.
Read moreI has zucchini fritter for main course. It was really greasy. Served on a bed of grated carrot.
All vey disappointing. Maybe I just chose the wrong options.
Pros: Lovely premises, Friendly staff
Cons: Overcooked food, Veg options not great

Great ‘occasion’ spot - Edit
I always loved going to Ego prior to becoming vegan - the restaurant is gorgeous and the staff are really friendly. There’s a good choice of vegan options - would recommend the Moroccan falafel for a large, super filling and tasty meal 🧆

Spoilt for choice! - Edit
The vegan menu at Ego is extensive and the food is great. When booking online they have the option to list what time play you're going to see at the nearby theatre after dinner; meaning the staff make sure you are finished at the appropriate time. The place is airy and open with a nice atmosphere. Fantastic pasta.
