Decent Lunch

We were walking in the area and came in for lunch. It took a while to be greeted and without a reservation we were seated at the only available table although 80% of the restaurant was empty.

A couple vegan options on menu. We took advantage of the special lunch for 2 at 30£.

The tomato roasted garlic was delicious although it seemed a small serving. The vegetable paella was filling buy not remarkable in flavor nor abundant in vegetables besides red onion. The corn fritters were interesting with good sauce flavor but again could have been more distinct flavor. We shared raspberry sorbet which was tasty although looked very unattractive and served by a child.

The ladies toilet was clearly not attended well by cleaners. The floors especially behind doors was built up and off putting for a restaurant striving for some elegance.

Pros: Polite server, Fixed price lunch menu

Cons: Limited options , Did not feel welcomed, Toilets need cleaning

Good selection. Dog friendly

This was the best variety of vegan options I have seen in the area since becoming vegan. As I tend to eat with non vegan family we don’t go to vegan only restaurants and it was lovely to have a variety of options #Veganuary

Delicious!

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food!
Definitely recommend the corn fritters as either a starter or a main, they must be tried!

Pros: Plenty of vegan options , Lovely setting and atmosphere , Friendly staff

Cons: A little expensive
