Gezellig eetcafé - Edit

In een regio met weinig vegan opties is dit eetcafé een heerlijke stopplaats tijdens uitstapjes in deze mooie streek.
Er staan steeds enkele vegan gerechten op de kaart, ook de vegan tapas zijn lekker!

Very vegan friendly - Edit

We had a lovely dinner here. The ambiance and music were great. A lot of vegan options on the menu and a changing vegan special. We got a delicious starter of tomato soup and a wrap. The burger was delicious. I realy liked the bun. 😄 The hostess was very friendly brought us some vegan mayo for the fries. Nice to have 2 dessert options. We will come back here.

Heerlijk vegan opties en zalig sfeer. En als je gelukkig bent kan je na eten ook een zalig concert genieten in de concertzaal naast.

Nice lunch, salad and pasta - Edit

There are a handful of vegan options on the menu: tapas as an entree, spaghetti bolognaise, vegan burger, season salad and a monthly vegan special (this month, a penne with vegs and portobello and cream sauce).
One of the few places in the wide area with vegan options.
We had the tapas platter, which was olives, hummus, some red/tomato dips, dried tomatoes, guac, and cherry tomatoes with grilled bread/toasts.
As mains the penne and the seasonal salad. The penne was ok, sauce could use some more spicing. The salad with pearl couscous contained a lot of raw cole, which I dont like, and also several vegs were not fresh but canned (eg haricots). Would have liked some nuts and seeds to make it more varied.

61€ for tapas, penne and salad and two non-alcoholic drinks each. (So on the more expensive side)

Then later in the afternoon, we went back to have the vegan chocolatemousse and coffee (there's also vegan sorbet).

Nice location, very spacious place, with great view on the hills outside of Dranouter. Large outdoor seating too (although along the road/traffic).
Very friendly service.
Accessible accessible toilet (some seats in the resto are on an elevated level though).
