Delicious fully vegan options - Edit
It had some fully vegan options. We had the pumpkin soup, stuffed pepper and another one that I forgot the name. Delicious and the service was very good. They were fully aware about the vegan and the not vegan food.

⚠️ Vegetable balls are not vegan - Edit
Be sure to ask the staff about the vegan options as they told us that vegetable balls are not good labeled as they contain egg.
Read moreFor the rest of the menu, at least what they told us, is good labeled.
There are many vegan options and they are really tasty. All stuffed vegetables are great in taste and also in amount of food. If you want to grant yourself a complete meal, be sure to order the large beans (with many herbs and flavour), just delicious!
Pros: Good location, Tasty food
Cons: Vegetable balls are not vegan (egg)

Labelled vegan options - Edit
We had a great two meals here with clearly labelled options of traditional food which we were really happy to be able to try. We had an array of delicious appetisers including stuffed grape leaves, vegetable balls and giant bean stew followed by mains of stuffed peppers and eggplant. One of very few restaurants in Albania with labelled options and interesting food choices - highly recommend.

Traditional Albanian food. - Edit
Traditional Albanian food. Very delicious. We ordered plenty of appetizers and were full by the end of the meal. Not too many vegan options but the food was delicious nonetheless. We ordered a soup, salads, pickled vegetables, pasta and sarma. The waiter knew what vegan means and was willing to adapt to our diet. The atmosphere of the place was very cozy. The prices were very affordable. A dinner for two people cost us 30€.

Little pricey but good food - Edit
The card is in English and has clearly marked vegetarian and vegan options. For the two of us we ordered two appetizers (beans and vegetable balls), a salad to share and two pumpkin soups and that was enough. All the food was really good but it seemed pricey to me. The restaurant itself has a really nice interior and the staff is nice.

didn‘t convince us - Edit
We asked the waiter if they had anything vegan, he said he could make pasta with tomatoes and butter. I then gave him our little card with an Albanian translation what vegan means. The cook said they had soup, salad and stuffed wine leaves. We decided to go to the restaurant on the opposite side („Vojsava“) who also had stuffed eggplant, peppers and a few other options.

Vegan options but BE CAREFUL - Edit
The restaurant offers various vegan options but BE CAREFUL: the staff is confused about what "vegan" means, so when ordering a dish don't ask whether it's vegan, ask instead whether it contains the specific ingredients you want to avoid. We asked if the vegetable balls were vegan, they assured us they were but when they arrived we realised they contained eggs (also, they were served with a yogurt sauce!). When we asked, they confirmed the dish did in fact contain eggs.

Nice surprise - Edit
We went here for dinner and didn't have very high expectations because of the reviews on happy cow. But we were happily surprised. You go upstairs for the restaurant. The atmosphere is better than in the other restaurants around. They have vegetarian and vegan options. The food was good and staff was nice. I would go here again.

Not great - Edit
I’m surprised it’s on happycow as there were very few vegetarian options on the menu, less than many other traditional restaurants in the area. Expensive and average food.

Not the tastiest - Edit
Not the tastiest food I've had but good enough. Was disappointed that the service brought bread with cheese baked into it after we explicitly said we don't eat milk or cheese.

Mixed menu with vegan options - Edit
Very nice but small restaurant (also has a shop). The kitchen/staff was a bit slow, considering the few restaurant guests. There was a menu poster board outside labelling the vegan options with a plant symbol - unfortunately, the menu didn’t have those icons anymore. But still, they have a lot of options in comparison to other restaurants in Albania.

Bland taste - Edit
Well, it's one of the few restaurants where it's possible to get some vegan food. I got the stuffed peppers for 350 Lek. To be honest: the portion was small (= not enough) and it lacked salt. So better get 2 dishes and don't choose the one I had.

We were impressed by Edua. The lower level store is beautiful. The owner was super helpful. My girlfriend eats cheese, so the owner prepared us a custom tasting plate with veg and vegan options.

Delicious little oasis in the bazaar - Edit
The restaurant is brand new. They didn't even have a printed menu yet. We were going to the other traditional restaurant listed on HC, but it was closed and we happened up Edua. Located above an artisan shop, everything was delicious and homemade. Owner spoke English and could help out choosing vegan dishes.

Cons: Not a huge offering of vegan foods
