Top food! All desserts can be vegan - Edit
Really nice dinner. We had a butternut squash soup and some hummus and flatbread to start (both vegan). Had a warm salad for main course, vegan option was with polenta and veggie option was halloumi. Also had a veggie bean burger we didn’t try but looked great!
Read moreAll desserts on the menu could be made vegan - we tried the apple crumble and the sticky toffee pudding which were 10/10. They also had a chocolate brownie and vegan ice cream!

Some vegan options - Edit
The Edinbane inn was cosy and the staff were friendly. It was quite empty when we went but booking is required as it can get really busy. There were two vegan options for both the starter and the main, with the dessert menu saying to ask about vegan options.
Read moreWe had the butternut squash soup and the hummus and flat bread for our starters. Both were very tasty, specifically the flat bread! I then had the sweet potato and lentil burger which had a good flavour but was a bit greasy. The skin on fries were lovely too.
Pros: Reasonably priced, Cosy, homely atmosphere , Food had good flavour
Cons: Limited parking outside , Burger was a little greasy

Cozy restaurant - Edit
Cozy restaurant on Skye. We ate here twice due to the little vegan options on Skye, also other restaurants were fully booked. Vegan options are listed on the menu. Starters, mains and also a vegan dessert (didn't try). We had the sweet Potato and lentil burger with salad, Fries, vegan chili mayo. The burger was good, and usually I'm not into these vegetable burgers. They also had a warm salad with polenta, chickpeas, Potato, spinach and tomato, which was surprisingly delicious. Would recommend!

Tasty vegan food on Isle of Skye - Edit
Based on a prior review, we booked a dinner here and were not disappointed. I can't say this was the best vegan meal we had, but it was pretty good. There are a few vegan options noted in the menu and what we had was tasty. One oddity was that the "flatbread" that comes with the hummus tasted like focaccia to us. Also, they ran out of the vegan dessert, so we were a little disappointed. The restaurant was very modern and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would return if ever in the area again.

Quality vegan options - Edit
I had a truly delicious 3 course meal at the Edinbame Inn. Butternut squash soup, chili polent and fried potato 'salad', and sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. There were vegan options clearly marked on the menu and most of the desserts could also be adapted. (I was told that they make a small batch of each vegan dessert each week so may run out). We went on a Thursday where they have live music in the evening. The venue was fully booked so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

Cons: Moderate price
