Good food in relaxed setting

Several items on the menu that can be made vegan. Ordered a vegetable stir fry with curry paste (can't remember the Khmer name). Loaded with veggies and only a mild curry flavour. Would have preferred more curry paste but overall satisfied with the dish. Staff lovely.

Best in Kampot!

Would give 5 stars. You can eat here and I also stayed here which I would recommend. When you arrive they give you ice tea and a fruit platter and you have free use of kayaks and bikes! Staff can’t read English but when you say what you want they understand. Loads of vegan options, locally sourced, made on site and very delicious!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Beautiful setting, Lovely staff

Great food. Peaceful setting.

We stayed for one night at Eden and everything was perfect: the room, the view and even the food! We had one breakfast, one lunch and one dinner. Everything was delicious. A lot of vegan options for à Khmer lunch or dinner. Highly recommend the yellow curry. Breakfast options can be veganised but ask for a bit more of other things if you take out the eggs, otherwise it won’t be really fulfilling and the plate will seem quite empty.

It deserves a 5! Local and tasty

This is a lovely place. We’ve tried different places in Kampot. Eden Eco is the best restaurant and guest house so far! The food is tasty, cooked with love and local. The fruits are fresh. Khmer delights are delicious.
Plus, Eden Eco does efforts to reduce plastic pollution. They do not serve plastic, they sell only reusable bottles and water refill is free. Not usual in Cambodia. Besides, the Bungalows are powered by solar panels. A thoughtful place where you can easily find calm and peace. And what about the view on the river? The best sunset we’ve experienced in Asia!
Only remark: I would have expected more quantity regarding western food.

Amazing Riverside Retreat

I can't leave a 5 star review because the system won't let me as Eden is not fully vegetarian or vegan however I would give 5 stars if I could!

Eden has a beautiful rustic setting on the river, where you can listen to the sounds of the local wildlife, the call to prayer from nearby Cham Mosque as well as bells and chants drifting across the river from the Buddhist Temple.

Eden has a whole separate vegetarian lunch and dinner menu with a good selection of Khmer and Western foods to choose from. There are vegan options or many dishes can be altered very easily to make them vegan. The staff will understand if you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. I had the lovely yellow curry which is served with tasty brown rice. All the breakfasts are vegetarian and some are vegan or can be made vegan. There are breakfast specials each day that come with a bowl of fresh seasonal fruit.

I can't recommend Eden enough for the variety of reasonably priced dishes on offer and the idyllic setting.

Pros: Delicious food, Beautiful setting, Reasonable prices

Delicious food

The food was delicious and it was beautifully prepared by the staff of the village. The dishes we ordered fused Cambodian or Asian ingredients with Western flavours, which made it a unique experience.
