The owners of the Eden Cafe mobile food trailer sold that and opened this brick-and-mortar cafe in 2014. Serves a variety of savories as well as cakes and baked treats, coffee, tea, and lattes. Became fully vegan in 2019. Open Tue-Fri 09:00-15:00, Sat 09:00-16:00, Sun 10:00-15:00.

Tasty lunch! - Edit
Hooray for Happy Cow - this vegan cafe is in a pedestrianised street just off the High Street which we probably wouldn’t have found by walking past! There’s a good menu of brunch/lunch options including some combinations (but no soup in summer although it’s listed and we were going to have the soup cheese & spinach muffin combo). Anyway we shared the sweetcorn fritters, a savoury muffin and some salad and it was very nice. Cakes looked fab but have to go back another time for tea and cake!

A gem - Edit
Had a late breakfast/early lunch here today. I had the English breakfast and a cheeky sausage roll, my fiancé had the breakfast bowl. Both were absolutely banging, we will be back! One very very small criticism, if the door mat could be fixed to not prop open the door at the main entrance….. Even better! 😊 #Veganuary

Kiwi owned/inspired plant 🌱 based restaurant with friendly staff. - Edit
We drove half an hour from our hotel to sample this lovely place in a quant villiage.
Read moreStraight away noticed a lot of pride in the design with the counter and menu board above it.
Nice artwork around the place which I assume are pieces from/of new-Zealand.
The use of gray paint to pull the various design elements together is clever.
Plywood is lovingly used which juxtaposed with the gray & white paint gives a nice gray, white & brown base from which colour pieces pop.
Very clean place with loads of vegan grub on offer.
Check out their menu

Fabulous selection of cakes including lots of Gluten-free - Edit
For us this is a gem. Not a large selection of meals but enough variety to satisfy anyone. That included a large selection of meals that can come with a gluten free option. Cake selection is extensive and includes lots of gluten-free options. Normally when we go out we are lucky to get one vegan and gluten free option on the menu said this was just splendid for us

Great mid-ride coffee stop - Edit
Stopped today in the middle of a long bike ride. Lovely cake and coffee and friendly staff. CN only leave bikes outside but we sat outside on the tables anyway so not a problem. Made for a great stop and will be back for more and definitely try out the lunch options. Good value for cake and coffee as well.

Ok food. Cozy atmosphere - Edit
Very cute little cafe nestled in a quaint English town. This is a great breakfast or brunch spot as their menu offers light savory foods and baked goods. I tried their tofu wrap and their chickpea and squash pasty. The wrap was very bland in my opinion, but the pasty was absolutely delicious! One of the best I've ever had. I also liked the aubergine and parsley side salad it came with, though I think they need to use bigger plates because food would fall off every time I tried to grab some of the salad with my fork.
Read moreI also tried their apple cake with ice cream and while the texture of both things was good, the cake was way too sweet and the ice cream just tasted sweet but had no other flavor.
Service was friendly and fast. Overall, I enjoyed stopping here for Sunday brunch but will probably not make it a point to return.
Pros: Cozy place, Delicious pasty, Friendly staff
Cons: Bland food, Small menu

I'm so gutted I don't live nearer Witney! - Edit
I went to visit a friend from uni for a couple of days last weekend and she took me here promising i'd love it and it was 'so me' - and she was 100% right! It's the cutest little spot for brunch or coffee with a cosy menu and all the food is so ridiculously pretty when it comes as well as tasting amazing. It's a really lovely, quiet cafe with chilled back vibes and lovely staff, and we sat in the little window seats which are a dream for quiet thinking and people watching. I had the avocado toast which is a bit of a staple for me when I venture to new places for brunch (I know...) with an americano, and my friend went for the BAMT bagel and they were both amazing, though it took me forever to decide because I was yearning to try all the cakes and bakes too! We also both got chai lattes (oat for me, soy for her) to take away when we left which were also both incredible. If I lived near to Witney I would genuinely come here to write and read with coffee all the time, it's perfect.
