Absolute Staple - Edit
I will always recommend Eden to anyone coming to Bristol, it's such a lovely little cafe tucked away in Clifton Village with always such lovely staff and incredible food!! I've also had non-vegan friends try it out and they love it too! (P.s. You have to try the Reuben sandwich it will change your life!)

Nice breakfast and pastry - Edit
It’s a nice spot for breakfast and the coffee was perfect but I thought it was pricy at about £13 for a breakfast. Although, the tofu scramble was amazing. I wouldn’t add the bacon for an extra £1 cos it was just the vivera bacon bits

Wow afternoon tea, okay-ish breakfast burritos. - Edit
I went here twice.

The breakfast burrito was good too, but didn’t wow me too much. Smoothie was super delicious and thick.

Great scrambled tofu - Edit
I was recommended to go to Eden Cafe so was excited to give it a try.
Read moreI was excited that they had lots of different teas that I’ve never tried before such as a blue raspberry, it was a lovely colour and tasted great! We both got the vegan breakfasts which were big portions and the scrambled tofu has to be one of the best I’ve ever tried. The beans were homemade too and a nice change, however the whole meal would have been better if wasn’t so cold.
Pros: Cute cafe , Exciting herbal teas, Amazing scrambled tofu
Cons: Cold food

Love this place! - Edit
Had been here a couple of years ago for their vegan afternoon tea, which was amazing, and popped by today for lunch. Wanted to try everything, menu looked great and the food I had was delicious and generous portion for the cost. Need to come back to try the rest!

Great find - Edit
Stopped off for lunch here on our way to Glastonbury, we actually took a detour to go and sooo glad we did. The staff were friendly and the service was great. I had a the doner wrap and a latte my wife had coronation chick pea sandwich and a loose leaf tea. The food was excellent and the coffee and tea was first class. We then had to have dessert 😀 I had a Caramel crunch and my wife had a cream tea with their home made clotted cream and both were Fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Amazing desserts - Edit
Best cinnamon swirls ever! Also, apple turnover is great. Muffins are okay, they do sweet and savory but the other options they do are better. They are on good2go, which is a great waste free initiative, so the price I got for things was very reasonable!

Tasty breakfast burrito - Edit
Nice place in Clifton in a relatively quiet street. We grabbed a seat outside and really enjoyed our lunch here. The breakfast burrito was packed with filling (tofu, beans, spinach, and potatoes). It had melted plantbased cheese, which I am usually not a huge fan of. This time around I actually enjoyed the cheese in the burrito. Decent size of the burrito as well.

Tasty sandwich! - Edit
Cute little place on a quiet street. I ordered 'The Reuben Sandwich': grilled sandwiches with seitan, sauerkraut, gherkins, cheese and mustard. It was delicious! The mustard was a bit sharp, but not domineering. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. The burrito had lots of filling and was also delicious!

We had the breakfast burrito, a cappuccino and a matcha. All were great quality. It was lovely to be able to sit out in the sun on a peaceful street and have breakfast. Cafe is also dog friendly and had water available for our dog!

Nice but with expensive vegan tax, and a guilt-tipping machine - Edit
I had a scone with jam and cream plus a hot drink for £10.40 - double the price John Lewis charge in their café. Nice though it turns out vegan clotted cream is, a 100% vegan tax is a reach. And the jam was really poor. Upon payment for their walk-up at-counter self-service you are presented with a machine that encourages you to tip for non-waited service. Could have been 5* but loses a star each for extortion through pricing and guilt-tipping.

We really enjoyed our visit to this vegan café in the heart of Clifton village. A good range of food options, many inspired by non-vegan dishes but more interpretations than imitations.

Healthy All Vegan Cafe - Edit
UPDATE (NEW MENU): They recently changed their menu and they have most of the classic items still on there but a few things have been removed. My friends and I had a lovely meal here; I had the Smokey beans on toast which was tasty but I would have liked a larger portion of beans. My friends had the soup and the Reuben sandwich which they enjoyed. Their cakes are all very small but I had the cinnamon swirl which was really nice. I do think it’s quite expensive here but their food is high quality and all quite healthy which I like.
Read moreA great cafe for vegans which focuses on healthy food that’s all homemade and fresh. This is a super unique vegan cafe and is unlike anywhere else in Bristol! They offer brunch and lunch with a unique menu from smoothie bowls, sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, hot chocolates, so many cake options and more! They have a huge variety on offer. Everything is nutritional and refined sugar. I love this place for a substantial vegan meal or snack that’s not filled with rubbish. It’s also great to support a local cafe run by vegans who really care about the food they are feeding to their customers. They also offer a vegan afternoon tea which I’d love to try. I think non vegans could enjoy this place however I took my non vegan parents here and they didn’t love it. They said they could ‘tell it was all vegan’ and didn’t love the taste of some of the food. A lot of their food is very tasty but some of their cakes, for example, have a compromised taste due to the healthy aspect. The reason why I don’t visit this place a lot is simply because of the cost. I know the prices are high because it’s all homemade and fresh however, the prices are simply too high for what it is and I spend as much in here on a tea and cake as I would on a meal somewhere else. It’s definitely a treat to visit here. The staff are always very friendly here though, and it’s a small and authentic cafe. There’s not loads of seating though so can be difficult to get a table at times. I would love to revisit soon as I visited last year and I hear they have a new menu!
