Exceptional shop - Edit
Staff is helpful. The lady even knew how much B12 vegans need to take (10 µg/day or 2000 µg/week).
Local imitations of various cheeses available, but chorizos are the more convincing. Great selection of whole frozen cakes.
Pros: very clean, large shop with lots of products, B12 advice is correct

Fantastic for Vegans - Edit
This supermarket has it all! All kinds of vegan cheeses, vegenaise, ice creams, meat replacements...
People are very nice there, you can ask them where to find anything (as the store is that big) and they will explain it to you.

Huge selection! - Edit
Everything you could possibly want. Good prices for vegan options, and includes cheaper and more expensive brands for most items. Only a shame there isn't anywhere like this in London!
Pros: Huge selection , Fair prices
Cons: Not open Sundays

Amazing! - Edit
I live about 10 minutes away so shop here all the time. Amazing selection of food and non-food. They have a massive array of vegan cheeses (more than I've ever seen), plus pretty much everything you could want (barring fresh fruit and veg, and bread- but there's plenty of other places in Barcelona for that, so it's not a problem).
Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and it's lovely shopping without having to the labels.
One of the few places I've found fairtrade coffee too.

Pros: Vegan cheese varieties, Vegan dog and cat food, Good prices
Cons: No fresh fruits or veggies

A place where I would shop if it were in my town - Edit
I went to this place during our stay in Barcellona and was really impressed: wide variety, very friendly staff and fair prices. I would certainly go back!

fantastic selection - Edit
This supermarket has an ingredible assortment of food, other stuff and shoes. But like they told me, they maybe want to cut down the vegan shoes. I hope not, because they have very nice shoes. Different kind of shoes like "Amapola" and so you have two options for vegan shoes in a walking distance.
But careful, they move the store at 15th of July to the adress: Diagonal, 329 (it is just around the corner)
Pros: very friendly staff, a great variaty of food and other things
Cons: Just one ore two vegan cook books, it's not dirty, but could be cleaner

The best shop in Barcelona - Edit
Ecocentre is the best option for vegan products, with the best of both price and variety. I really like the products or Wilmersburger Vegandeli and here I find the best price. Also is very good to buy seitan or tofu in large quantities. Good line of frozen products. They also have a good stock of vegan shoes (Bioworld!) at a price not much higher than the same producers offer you, as well as cleaning and grooming products. The staff is very attentive and is always willing to advise you with a smile on their face.
Another of the things that I like is that Econcetre offers spaces for Vegan Meetings as "Feria Vegana" and courses that promote the veganism.
Pros: Value for money, Variety of products, Pure vegan

Great little place - Edit
They have lots of vegetarian and vegan alternatives. In the heart of Eixample. They don't carry fresh fruits or vegetables, but the woman who worked there was very nice and helpful, and told me where I could get organic produce. I will go back for sure.
Pros: many options
Cons: I didn't see any non-soy protein powder

Great place near(ish) to the Basilica Sagrada Familia - Edit
They don't have fresh products (like homemade stuff, veggies, fruits), but there are a lot of highly desired vegan products there (sheese, cheezly, vegusto). No Kombucha, but I did get really cheap vegan yogurt there. Mostly importantly, there are products from Lujuria (and other vegan bakeries - I had a vegan croissant!). Also saw ice cream in pints. I did see Kombucha BTW in Llavors (not on Happy Cow right now, but it exists at Villaroel 62)
Pros: Good location, pretty large, has non-vegan food products too
Cons: needs more fresh stuff, would like prepared foods there (not just fake mea

Makes Barcelona a repeat destination. - Edit
I absolutely adore this shop as it makes staying cruelty-free so easy in a language I'm not quite fully up with. There are a lot of shoes, DVDs, grains and breads, household products, food for companion animals, ice creams, cakes etc. They have a large refrigerated unit and separate frozen cabinets. The shop floor is huge and filled with real food with a clear conscience. While in Barcelona I bought some truly delicious Magdalenas from Ecocentre on several occasions. And although I didn't stay in the city long enough to buy everything I wanted to, this place is (again) fabulous. The range is so impressive. It's located one minute from Verdaguer Metro station, on the yellow L4 line and also the blue L5 line. It's also close to the Sagrada Familia.
Pros: Great range - pantry;refrigerated;frozen, Really decent pricing, Campaign literature available
