Nice place to stay for vegans - Edit

I booked this hotel because of its sustainable ethos, not realising that the self-service breakfast (paid for as standard part of stay) was almost vegan. The only non-vegan foods were honey and muesli (containing honey). We stayed in the Kauri Room, the smallest room, which was quite small and entered from outside the house. We were right beside the deck and the edible garden, which was lovely, although conversations could be heard through the walls. The house was lovely, with common sitting room, kitchen and accessible bathroom. There were also free bikes to borrow and and outside baths, which unfortunately we did not get to use. We paid $155 a night for the room, which was pretty good given the facilities and accommodation prices in New Zealand.

Pros: Almost exclusively vegan breakfast foods , Sustainable ethos

Cons: Room quite small, Conversations audible through walls
