I like this place - Edit
Along the biking route from Athens to Nelsonville, it is a lovely place to hang out. They have concerts, good beers, very nice staff and good food, with several vegetarian and vegan choices on the menu. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

I love their hummus, the sweet hot mustard sauce and the side dishes.

Vegan Options Aren’t Fully Vegan - Edit
Great vibes and servers are super nice, but the vegan options aren’t quite there. Not much marked as vegan, and some of the “vegan” stuff aren’t really vegan.

Good vegan options - Edit
Pretty good bar to pick up a couple vegan beers or drinks while chowing down on a vegan BBQ sandwich. To be honest I was expecting a square piece of tofu marinated in BBQ sauce but instead it was like tofu scramble with BBQ on a bun which I thought was interesting. Not typically how I eat tofu on sandwiches but it was still good.

Shout out to The Plains, OH and the Eclipse Company Store for having vegan options! If you can’t tell, there’s a burger under are that amazingness in my picture lol They even offer Funny Girl Bacon for a little up charge!
Read moreWhile the burger wasn’t super flavorful or anything to rave about, I’m beyond happy the option was there. They also had bbq tofu that could be added to their salads, their tacos, or on top of their tots and chips. I’ll have to give that a try next time!
Sadly I was working when I visited, but I’ll have to indulge in their vast beer selection next time!
