Eatsa - California St

Ein super cooles Erlebnis. Schon das Bestellen an den Bildschirmen macht Spaß. Man wird vorher direkt gefragt ob man vegan oder glutenfrei haben will und aufgrund dieser Aussagen sortiert das Programm manche Sachen automatisch aus. Danach kann man sich austoben. Unbedingt dabeihaben:Kreditkarte!! Ohne geht's nicht. Barzahlung ist nicht möglich. Ich komme definitiv wieder :)

The idea is interesting, and reasonably straightforward. We had a technical issue, but the only visible employee was quite helpful and friendly. Once we enjoyed the show (it is fun - in a silly sort of way - to watch the process), we wandered off to find somewhere to eat. Unfortunately, there is no seating at this location. We did not expect a top-notch dining experience, but we came away impressed with the overall quality and taste of the food. The prices are definitely reasonable, especially when considering such a prime location. This may or may not be a place to add to your regular rotation, but it is certainly worth visiting from time to time. It's quick, tasty, and cheap.

The "automat" style setup of Eatsa is appealing for its newness -- I think the efficiency will keep it going, especially in a world where people increasingly interact with screens vs. other people (for better or worse). You order from a digital touchscreen, step inside and wait for your name to appear onscreen, with a number. Wait for the food to appear in that numbered box, open, grab, and go. There's one human hanging around out front to field questions. The ordering interface remembers you if you swipe the same credit card on subsequent visits. No cash.
