Very good

Very tasty salads. However, I found the menu set up to be a little confusing. Basically, you get a salad, but then you pick your toppings and salad dressing. Will return, as the flavors and spiciness were delicious!

Owner is vegan

Go ahead and order any of the bowls and let Alpa know you are a vegan. She’s a great cook who is passionate about flavor! I’d give it 5 stars is I could.

Customizable Lighter Fare

The food is very customizable and healthy. It doesn’t fill me up for the price but it’s got a lot of flavor and is veg friendly.

Delicious and unique bowls

An amazing little eatery with a couple of indoor and outdoor tables.

Choose from a large assortment of veggies, proteins and bases. I had the makhani bowl with almonds, paneer, rice and veggies. Delicious!

Pros: Lots of options, Women owned business, Full of flavour

Favorite Indian inspired vegan take out

Have ordered by phone twice (their preference, rather than on line ordering per website) and LOVE these Indian flavored, healthy salad bowls. Such a variety of flavors, colors, and textures! Don't be intimidated by the choices. The polite women (girls rule!) who answer the phone will walk you through the process and make suggestions at your invitation. Share your spice heat and dietary preferences.

1. Choose your flavor (creatively named and identified as vegan or vegetarian)-My favorites are Darling Lia (lentil curry) or You Are The Pav To My Bhaji (potato curry with a little heat), I believe most bowls include a red bell pepper chutney and a cilantro-garlic chutney as well.

2. Select base- Either more greens or if you want a more filling base chose rice (brown at no extra charge!). Other options have an additional charge but I am a frugal New Englander!

3. Pick your protein- I like trying beans I don't do at home such as mung beans but other more traditional options are available, including animal protein with an extra charge.

4. Add fruit &/or veggies- free: jalapeños, Amazing Onions (green, red & yellow), and Vivacious Veggie Mix (cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes); all the ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and added a great crunch to the bowl. Extra charge items are avocado, mango, corn...

5. Crunch it up- Choose 3 toppings. Try the Indian options: boondi (fried chickpea flour with a little spice), chana dal (fried chickpeas), sev (chickpea flour noodles), or bhandran mung (seasoned fried mung beans)! Not familiar with the Indian toppings? I just learned there's a display inside with samples in ramekins and signage explaining what everything is so you can test drive them! I usually pick one of the Indian toppings, a nut & fried garlic.

To-go orders are packed in a compostable bowl, with the sauces packaged in recyclable containers, so nothing gets soggy or limp. It is a challenge to toss/mix it all together but who cares when you get a beautiful, delicious, filling, healthy meal prepared by nurturing women. Just saw online they have soup which I will try on a chilly day!

Pros: Freshly prepared healthy bowls at reasonable price, Compostable or recyclable packaging, Polite phone and in person service

Cons: Hard to find the 1st time, park on El Camino, Ordering process unique but easy after 1st time, Closed on Sunday so can't be spontaneous

Super flavorful!

I’m happy to be the first review! I got the Darling Lia Bowl and the sauces were sooooooo good. I met with and talked with the owner for a bit and she’s so nice too. Happy to have a new place to visit!

Pros: Several vegan options, Very flavorful, Allergy conscious

Cons: A little pricey
