Comfort food- Southern style - Edit
The decor and ambiance here bespeak of a focus on the joys of life through shared dining in a welcoming atmosphere. It is always a buzz in here, always busy.
As a veg*n, there are plenty of options as long as you are jot a raw foodist. Even the salads are not raw with grilled pineapple or jerk tofu salad. The sides to choose from complement the meal, like collard greens and Brussel sprouts. However, it may frustrate that not all veg side dishes are vegan. The food is not aiming to be healthful, as the entrees like a lentil burger and fried tofu have much oil, though not necessarily oily tasting. There is also vegan gumbo. For brunch, the menu is not anything more exciting for vegans than the salads, so it may not be the best choice as a vegan.
A good selection of vegan items, but Eatonville is both the tastiest or most vegan friendly business in this area. Unless with others dying to eat here, maybe opt for another venue if the goal is to have a high selection of possible dishes.
Pros: Vegan marked, Decor
Cons: Vegan selection small, Gluten-free not marked

Not good - Edit
This is the first brunch place where I hated my food. My omelet was SO oily that when I pressed my fork on it, oil just gushed out. Who wants to eat oily eggs? (and trust, it wasn't olive oil either). Not to assume that all vegetarians and vegans are health conscious, but I simply can't stand the taste of very unhealthy fried and oily food. And that totally ruins the dish for me. And it was expensive too.
Pros: Couple of veg dishes
Cons: Very oily, Gross, Expensive

love this place! - Edit
We only went in for a snack this time, and had a starter and a side. The fried green tomatoes were so delicious! Can't wait to go back and have them again, as well as try more items.
