Yummy

I had the cauliflower & falafel plate. It was tasty. The pickled veggies are a great touch and the hummus was good. The jalapenos though are a bit too strong for me. There are other vegan options and dishes that can be made vegan including their pizza. Another person ordered the pizza and it looked good; they thought so as well. The service was good.

A lot of vegan options

The vegan options are delicious. The falafel is now vegan, and there is a vegan cheese option for pizzas. A lot of the sides are vegan. Right now sides that are vegan or can be made vegan are warm olives, mushrooms, papas bravas (no aioli), Brussels sprouts, hummus (brunch or dinner), mushrooms, and shishito peppers. The salads are also great. On the brunch menu the smashed avocado toast and the avocado bowl are my favorites, but the shakshuka dish, which is like a Mediterranean tomato stew served with flatbread, and the chilaquiles are also delicious. There is a new squash bowl that is really good too. Overall I would say there are more vegan brunch options than dinner, but highly recommend going for either!

Few vegan options but what’s there is very good

I’ve eaten here probably 5 or 6 times dining in. The food is always good but I had always been disappointed with portions and ratios. Like not enough hummus to eat the flatbread, etc. However we just got takeout during the coronavirus lockdown and the portions were gigantic! We had more hummus and flatbread than we knew what to do with

There are not a lot of vegan options. Even the falafel has egg in it. But, this is Iowa so obviously we aren’t expecting Cafe Gratitude. The options available are delicious. Basically you’ve got pizza (choose your own toppings, vegan “cheese” is available if you’re into that sort of thing), salads, hummus, and pickled vegetables, all of which are fantastic. That’s not much but if you don’t go too often you can mix those options every time and not be disappointed.

Pros: Delicious, Huge servings during COVID-19 takeout

Cons: Not a lot of vegan options, Small portions, poor value when I’ve dined in
