Clean, simple, tasty and healthy food - Edit

The carts at the Tidbit cart pod offer lots of vegan options and I finally got a taste of the offerings at Eat Well and will definitely be back for more. When you get tired of pizza and waffle sandwiches (is that even possible?) and are looking for something wholesome and tasty, head over Eat Well. They have a variety of bowls, including a build your own option, and several sauces, only one of which is not vegan.

The staff was helpful, friendly and offered samples of the different sauces before I placed my order. I ended up with the green bowl - beans, rice, kale, cilantra, green onions and green sauce. Original? No. Healthy and tasty? Absolutely. Sure there are many places in Portland where you can get something similar, and Eat Well is as good as any of them, and better than many. If I had one small complaint it's that it could have used more kale, but that's a minor issue. Any time I can get a healthy, tasty and filling meal for $7.00, I'm happy. And after having a meal here, you can feel a little less guilty when you get a decadent dessert at Back to Eden.

Pros: Healthy, Tasty, Reasonably Priced
