Not Fuh Me

The vegan fuh (pho) was just ok. The flavour leaves a lot to be desired. Service was dull. Overall, it didn't seem worth the high price tag.

Decent vegan options

Good to see vegan pho, laksa and spring roll options. We had the pho and it was good. We ordered the large size and it was definitely a generous serving. Marking this place down only for the unfriendly service on our visit.

Not bad but also really not special or interesting

We tried the vegan laksa (it’s a clear broth - always thought laksa would be coconut broth?) and it was not bad but pretty boring. Tasted salty but that’s it, not very rich in flavour

Pros: Some vegan options , Outside seating so you can bring your dog

Cons: Flavour was boring

So Good We Went Back!

We stumbled upon Eat Fuh and we were so happy we did. We enjoyed it so much we went back a week later, and the food was just as good! Oh our first visit we ordered a Vegan Fuh, a Vegan Rice (so delicious) and a Vegan Laksa (amazing). The food was really wonderful, and the portion sizes were huge. The second time we visited we split two Vegan Rice between four of us (2x adults and 2x children) and it was more than enough. We also tried the Vegan Rice Paper Rolls which were beautiful! It is very well priced too. Would have easily given five stars if the restaurant was fully vegan.

Good Vegan Vietnamese Options

Restaurant is omnivorous serving traditional beef and chicken versions of pho, noodle salads and stir fry’s. It does however have Vegan options of some of the classic Asian dishes. We have been seeking a vegan pho and this really hit the spot. We will use this as a regular haunt.

Vegan spring rolls were good and they asked if we wanted the spring roll portions adjusted from the standard 3 pieces to 4 pieces. Good aniseed flavour in the pho, Laksa was very good with hints of lemongrass and the noodle salad which I normally find a bit bland was also really nice. We chose large portions of the pho and Laksa and they were very filling.

Also now tried the rice paper rolls and the vegan tofu with rice and vegetables. These were both very good, the tofu in the rice dish had been fried so had a nice crunch to it. The portion of the rice dish was a good size and came with a sauce that can be seen in the photo.

We did BYO wine at $3pp.

Pros: Tall ceilings, industrial type decor, Limited outdoor seating good for Covid dining, good parking on street or in centre

Cons: No plant milk version of Vietnamese coffee
