Very vegan friendly! - Edit

All items are marked as vegan, vegetarian and celiac-friendly. My celiac friend was also grateful.

I had the vegan platter (about $12 or so). Fantastic. It had deep-fried chickpea fritters (tender and flavourful), black bean cakes (covered in gauc and a tomato sauce), home-made fried tortillas, fresh veggies and stir-fried, mexican-style veggies, and lots of hummus.

A great deal. Also, they had a selection of local beers which made it perfect.

On their menu it said 'we don't use a lot of meat, if you want a steak The Keg is down the street'. Nice touch.

a nice surprise - Edit

I had no idea this place existed until I saw it here. Limited vegan dishes, however it is nice to have another option. Had the spicy black bean cakes, which are topped with guacamole and salsa and served with a side salad-tasty. I rarely eat fries, because it is hard to find a place that makes them rather that throws frozen mass produced fries into a vat of grease with beef tallow in it, but I was assured they were vegan, and freshly made. If you like old fashioned thick cut greasy fries, here is your place- it was a yummy treat. To my great surprise, they serve vegan cupcakes. I tried the lime, and it had a nice balance of sweet and pucker. This is a decadent cupcake, so if you are looking for something that is going to give you a sugar rush, here it is!
