Lovely cafe - Edit
This cafe do a great choice of vegan food such as a full vegan english breakfast! The food tastes so good and I highly recommended it :) They do a great hot chocolate and do a wide rage of vegan snacks and meals! Even the staff are friendly and polite. As you sit dosn with your meal, there are outside seatings so you can enjoy the view of the park and you can bring your pet.

Vegan options, great staff - Edit
Twin cafe of "Eat at the Stade" on the seafront of the Old Town in Hastings. Always vegan options on the menu, though not often cakes (they had absolutely wonderful vegan chocolate muffins around Halloween time though)! They do a few vegan sandwiches and vegan cooked breakfast is always available too. A good selection of teas. Staff always seem polite, friendly and efficient. Seats indoors and out or can have food and drink served to take away. Alexander Park is a lovely setting.
Pros: Staff, Food, Surroundings
Cons: Lack of vegan cakes, can get very busy in good weather

Park Cafe With Vegan Options - Edit
A nice, airy cafe, with both indoors & outside seating, set in the lovely Alexandra Park. Eat @ The Park has a good range of snacks & meals, with an emphasis on catering for various dietary needs. Veggie & vegan items are marked on the menu (see their website) &, staff assure us, cooked separately.
Options include a tasty Vegan Breakfast for a fiver (vegan sausage, 'bacon', fried mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, tomatoes & chunky toast with vegan marge); choose-your-own combis from any of these items plus chunky chips; jacket potatoes; houmous & olive platter; vegan sausage or 'bacon' baguette or sandwich; houmous salad & children's portions (smaller versions of items as already mentioned, plus crudites & houmous). In addition to vegan marge, there is Marmite, peanut butter, jam & marmalade to spread on your toast.
Sadly no vegan cakes yet, though some of the children's organic snacks are vegan.
Pros: Vegan Options Marked Clearly, Staff Assure Us All Cooked Separately, Inexpensive
Cons: No Vegan Desserts, Little Fresh Veg/Salad, Can Be Hard To FInd Seats When Busy

Nice and relaxed - Edit
[email protected] park has a slightly different menu than [email protected] Stade. Ihad the impression it's a bit more fast food, less salad stuff. I had a decent vegan hummus panini, though, and enjoyed the view at the park meanwhile. It must be lovely to sit here outside in summer or spring with a soya hot chocolate. Very nice staff. Good atmosphere. I hope there will be more vegan dishes in the future.
