Yummy lunch with lots of options! - Edit
Busy cafe with 100% vegetarian options, with many vegan options available too and clearly marked on the menu. I had the veggie fritters and really enjoyed them as well as the fresh salad. Lots of flavours and options. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Best vegan food in Belgrave - Edit
Top notch vegan food in a heritage building in the hills. The menu really surprised me with how.mny options it had. We had the okonomiyaki pancake and mushroom bruschetta, and took away vegan lemon curd cupcakes. The staff were very accommodating and were great at answering questions about vegan meals. I can't wait to get back and try something else!

Slow service, lovely atmosphere - Edit
It has a lovely vibe. Had a lot of vegan options that are clearly labeled, also had vegan deserts. We order our food at about 2pm when we were advised the kitchen closes at 3pm, it took almost 40 minutes to get our food. The place was not particularly busy, with minimal food leaving the kitchen. The food was hot and fresh when it arrived, but it shouldn't take that long to make two burgers and fry some fries. Staff were nice but not very attentive.

Cons: Expensive for what you get in terms of burger size, Took 40minutes to prepare

WOW! - Edit
We had the vegan okonomiyaki, mushroom bruschetta, and apple & rhubarb crumble (from the specials board). We loved every bite and can’t wait to go back to explore all the options on the menu. What an environment too. This place is beautiful, the staff are helpful and friendly, the artwork is cool, and the open fireplace adds that extra special touch. I’m impressed!

Tasty, fresh food in a great atmosphere - Edit
I ordered the vegan mushroom bruschetta and my partner ordered the eggs benedict. Both dishes were delicious and fresh, and just the right size (not small, but not overloaded)! Even though it's out of my way, I will detour to go there in future. Adding to this, the friendly staff and the interesting architecture and history of this place made it a delightful brunch.

Great food and atmosphere in a beautiful house and garden - Edit
There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options available and the service is excellent, with friendly and courteous staff. The building was built in 1931 as a residence for a local doctor with an interest in art, and as such it is Heritage listed. There are many paintings on display inside, in keeping with the building's origins.

Earthly Pleasures is a special place with spacious green grounds and inviting and warm dining space. The service is attentive and very friendly. All vegan options are clearly marked and include more o. The changing specials menu. The vegan mushroom burger is one of the best, most satisfying burgers I have eaten, their turmeric soy late was warming and delicious. Excellent experience so looking forward to going back soon.

Best tofu scramble & vegan banana bread plus a beautiful setting to eat it in! - Edit
I'm really surprised to see the bad reviews on earthly pleasures!
Read moreIt's my favourite place for vegan breakfast. You can either have avo smash hummus toast, porridge or tofu scramble - I always get the tofu scramble (amazing) but the avo toast is awesome too.
They have banana bread on the menu, which is also vegan and you can get it with maple syrup - absolutely beautiful!
I've had the smokey mushroom baguette with vegan aioili for lunch before - at $18 it's a little expensive and should probably come with something on the side to create better value and to help with the presentation (currently just the baguette on a plate on its own) but seriously amazing taste!
The building and gardens are beautiful.
I love this place!
Pros: Food tatstes amazing , Beautiful setting and gardens, Pretty fast service and friendly staff
Cons: Some lunch items a little pricey for what you get

Vegan iced chocolate - Edit
I can't vouch for the food, because I only had an iced chocolate, but being able to have an iced chocolate out is an extremely rare experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat outside and the environment was just gorgeous.

In serious need of some attention - Edit
There are some reasonable Vegan options available at Earthly Pleasures, such as the lentil soup, various wraps and focaccias, dips & freshly baked bread, plus a tofu scramble. Bonsoy is the milk of choice for non-dairy hot drinks.
Read moreHaving visited half a dozen times over the last 4 or 5 years, I have become very familiar with their menu; sadly it has never been revamped in that time. Even the same baked goods, a raspberry and coconut muffin and a crumble dessert are served up week in, week out, year after year.
My most recent visit was severely lacking in flavour; a watered down soup, excessively oily salad and weak coffee.
It's all OK, but a little tired and uninspired.
Pros: Vegan options, Pleasant staff, Cosy atmosphere
Cons: Tired menu
