Great afternoon tea - Edit

Have been here for a takeaway sandwich, cakes and, best of all, afternoon tea which is totally delicious although you do need to book in advance. Only thing is I would prefer a few more savoury options but I guess that’s not what most people go for an afternoon tea for! I also ordered an almond tart for my mums birthday which they made sugar free for her and it was delicious!

lovely staff but not the best cake - Edit

The girl working here was super nice, and all the cakes looked really good.

However, the two I tried were pretty underwhelming and a bit stale. I was very early in the morning though - maybe when stuff is fresh it’s better?

Pros: staff, selection

Cons: freshness

Great stuff! - Edit

As it is new, this place is great. The cakes are brilliant quality, though it is quite a small place and doesn't have hot food options. Vx is very nearby so these guys make for an amazing dessert stop afterwards! Excellent- just be careful as things were out of stock in the times I have visited!

Beautiful vegan cakes. - Edit

This is a small cafe with eat in and takeaway options. Afternoon tea is available but you have to book in advance. Different plant-based milks are recommended for various drinks. - latte, chai, etc. There is also a cold drinks fridge.
There are least 3 types of baguette but the real stars of the show are the many cakes on offer. Miniature morsels for tasting; slices; whole ones for celebrations. Delicious.
Lovely vegan indulgence.

Pros: Lovely vegan cakes., Lots of choice., Friendly, helpful staff.

Cons: None

Lovely little cakes - Edit

We couldn’t decide what to try so the mini cakes were a great solution. I especially liked the Victoria sandwich. Coffee was good and there was a choice of plant milk.
Service was friendly.

Cake Lovers Heaven - Edit

This place is a vegan cake lovers paradise unless like me you care to avoid sugar ! So given that I didn't partake in the main offerings which did look rather scrummy I can say that the savoury fayre was good and the tea just fine. Its not a cheap joint, but its nicely done and I will take up their offer of pre ordering a sugar free cake for my next visit,

Pros: Lots of fancy big cakes, All vegan and friendly.

Cons: No sugar free cake

Amazing cake poor service - Edit

Really good quality food, cakes are amazing. I ordered a chocolate log last Christmas and my family liked it better than the non vegan chocolate log.

I find service could be improved, I went once when they had run out of savary options, it took some convincing to get the kitchen to make something for me before the bulk of the food was restocked. They were reluctant to go out of their way even though I was the only customer in the shop.

Pros: Best vegan cakes in Bristol.

Cons: Service

afternoon tea was amazing!! - Edit

I've done a vegan afternoon tea. So good!!! Lots of variety. Tea comes with your choice of vegan milk (oat, almond, soya, coconut). I had a small sausage roll on a separate occasion... also wonderful.

Pros: variety

lovely afternoon tea - Edit

I visited Earthcake for an afternoon tea with my vegan partner and non vegan parents and it was lovely. There was a great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. We left feeling like there was just enough food, all full but not too much left over.
My mum said they were some of the best scones she has ever tried and she usually snubs her nose at vegan food! Success!!
The only thing I wasn't too keen on was the 'cream' for the scones. It was just a margarine, would have liked something a bit more creamy or fluffy?

Pros: cute afternoon tea, unlimited hot drinks, really delicious scones

Cons: didn't like clotted cream substitute

Delicious!!! - Edit

We had sausage rolls which were YUM and baguettes. The baguettes contained ham and salad in one, cheese and salad in another, and a sausage and mustard one. Devine! Cannot wait to try the cakes!! They had so much food there!!

Pros: ALL VEGAN and LOTS OF IT

Great local, independent cake and coffee shop - Edit

Such a lovely treat, a great selection of 100% vegan cakes (including at least one gf option). They also have sandwiches, baguettes & regular savory options - yesterday I had the quiche with a side salad and a gf chocolate devils cake to go :)
They also do a great pre-book afternoon tea - which I highly recommend, again with a full gf option.
Worth a visit - but beware you might well become a regular!

Pros: 100% vegan, gluten free options

liked it :) - Edit

I had the gluten free coffee cake and my husband a mini sponge cake. Both were very nice. Staff were nice but not very chatty. Quite expensive, but can understand as only a small operation. Will visit again :)

really good cakes - Edit

Got a chicken and mayo baguette and a selection of mini cakes. The baguette was really good quality and tasty, just like the non-vegan version in my opinion and the cakes were really moist and delicious! I would go again and again, and recommend to a friend!

Although the cafe has only recently opened, the selection of cakes is exceptional. Well recommended for fancier cakes and coffee. We shall be back!
