Juice Bar!

They have a juice bar with greens, beets, garlic etc... $5.69 for a 16oz. Also wheatgrass.

Pros: Juice Bar

Terrible produce, good frozen and dry selection

Decent market for occasional purchases but it's not a place to do all your shopping. I end up buying a fair amount of hard-to-find vegan items here but always regret purchasing any produce. It may be organic but it is never fresh and doesn't ripen properly.

Pros: hard to find vegan items, good frozen section, good vegan hair care

Cons: terrible produce, expensive

Great seitan!

My boyfriend and i got the sweet and sour seitan. It was delicious but a little skimpy on the seitan. However, the sauce and bell peppers were delicious. I liked the grocery part as well, but it was hard to find some things (mainly pesto). The prices are a little much but we expected that. Plus, I think everything is expensive, haha.

Pros: fresh food, friendly staff

Cons: a little pricey

They Sell Meat

They sell meat and fish and egg products. They do not discriminate. You have to read the labels carefully. They are owned by NRG, which is owned by UNFI, so they are definitely big business - not a locally owned company.

Pros: Wide Range, Eat-in Area

Cons: Sell meat, High Prices, Narrow rowsisles

no good

it's places like these that make it hard for the average joe to accept organic living. I spent $70 on nuts, fruits, veggies, and a box of tea and not even enugh to last a week and can only have a max of 80 carbs a day. The selection is usually freash, but minimal at best. It's small, so i understand, but if you have limitations on what you can consume (vegan/diabetes for instance) there is very little for you. If you like chips and cereal, your streight. Some of the staff is amazing, while others are streight up rude. Also I use to work at helth food stores before i moved to gainesville, they where never this redic.

Pros: raw almonds, usually good avacados

Cons: over charging, limited selection, rude manager
