Great addition to Rock Hill. - Edit
Read moreUpdate- The new Earthfare feels a little more corporate and less friendly. Still has variety of options that I cannot find elsewhere, but don't feel drawn to the deli items any longer. Seem pricier for items that I can now get at places like Food Lion and Harris Teeter. Still try to support the effort though.
- old review - Always helpful. Great deli section and food bar with vegetarian and vegan options clearly labeled. So happy they came to Rock Hill.

Let Down - Edit
Was hopeful to get a vegan lunch here after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, none of the soups (there were 4) were vegan and none of the prepared sandwiches were either. Went to the salad bar and saw old veggies (extremely dried out) , gray lettuce and old, cold baked tofu that tasted like a dish sponge. The bean salad and orzo was good but drenched in oil.

Cons: No vegan soup or sandwich option, Old salad bar items

Vegan options & growing - Edit
Overall lots of vegan/vegetarian, non GMO, and organic options available. My only draw back is their produce section. They seem to always have bare areas, expiring produce, and sometimes popular veggies such as broccoli are not available. Maybe I’m shopping on the wrong days and times? Since we don’t have a lot of organic produce options in the area, I really can’t complain because they always have frozen produce options too. Another issue is the amount of plastic, but that’s all grocery stores. Wish we had the option to buy berries and other produce in bulk in a non plastic biodegradable container. FYI- Abe’s muffins are bomb and they carry the blueberry and choc chip in the bakery section (also served in plastic).

Cons: Over ripe produce , Sometimes low stock availability

Very Good - Edit
It's a very well stocked graocery store. There are numerous vegetarian and vegan groceries for sale. In addition their deli makes vegetarian and vegan items (with labels clearly marked). I've also special ordered items they don't carry in the store from them. I like the Tofurky Roast "Beef" deli slices but nobody in Rock Hill carries that flavor, and they were able to order me a case.
Read morePros: Well stocked, Deli has items clearly labeled, Will special order items by the case if you buy it
Cons: Could have more items for vegans and vegetarians

Their deli is very well done with vegan and vegetarian options. However, I am in love with their vegan mock chicken salad, but if you want it you need to buy it early in the week, they tend to sell out fast!

Earth Fare - Rock Hill, SC - Edit
Earth Fare is conveniently located (near Winthrop College), has plenty of parking, and is very clean. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked and has a buffet (including a salad bar) 7 days a week. It should be noted however that while Earth Fare seems to be primarily vegetarian/vegan oriented they do have a meat/seafood section located in the back.

Cons: Meat / Seafood Counter, Somewhat Expensive
