Separate Plant-Based Menu - Edit
Earls is always a great option to go out with friends and they have a seperate plant-based menu! I love the angry tofu lettuce wraps, the Bangkok bowl and the sushi tacos.

Some hits some misses - Edit
The number of vegan menu options has grown which is great! I got the kung pao veggie bowl with brown rice which was awesome! There are 2 options for impossible burger on the menu (1 fully vegan & 1 that’s not, so beware). My spouse got the fully vegan impossible burger & side salad. Everything was good except the vegan bun was very tough & almost inedible. We’ve had many tasty vegan buns at other places, so Earl’s has room for improvement. Service was excellent & the atmosphere was nice. Would definitely return for other items, but skip the burger.

Fabulous dinner night - Edit
I had the hunan kung pao, lovely Asian dish, you can choose the hotness level too. It was a lovely meal, but for me it was hot. We went again the next night and I had the kale mushroom pizza, it was really big, but delicious and very filling!! I couldn't finish it all but was very happy with it.

Decent vegan options - Edit
Earls is a fail safe when I’m traveling, or going out to dinner with friends & family who aren’t vegan.
Read moreI usually get the vegan hunan kung pao, which is very good. Other times I’ll grab an impossible burger!
I wouldn’t go here on my own, but it’s a great option and is in most cities.
Pros: Vegan options, Some locations have kombucha
Cons: Expensive

Multiple Vegan Options - Edit
Earls is a chain restaurant with multiple locations throughout Vancouver that serves upscale casual fare. The menu has a plant-based entree section that includes rice and quinoa bowls, an Impossible burger, and tofu sushi tacos. I tried the vegan tempura shroomami bowl, which included tempera vegetables, quinoa, cauliflower rice, and a sauce that tasted lime-based. I could have eaten two of them!

Better than 10 years ago! - Edit
It has clearly moved on from the past where a vegetarian meal was a challenge. They now have a separate vegan menu, I had the cauliflower wings which were yummy, especially the dip. I also had the plant based burger which I fortunately was very generic. I could have got it from anywhere.

Very limited vegan/vegetarian menu on Robson - Edit
I was excited to try this place based on reviews;however, the plant based menu was short and unimpressive. I wanted the Tofu Zen, others reviews made it sound so good- but they don’t offer it at the Robson location. We ended up with Impossible burgers which were fantastic. There are so many vegan restaurants in Vancouver; therefore, I can’t recommend this place. The vegan Impossible burger was $23, the vegetarian Impossible burger was $21.

I really love this place! I ate here when I was vegetarian, and now being vegan I still love the food. Good options, and the staff is knowledgeable. I had a vegan waitress one time too!
