Good food. Simple buffet. Gluten and soy entrees.

First of all, the directions on this listing are perfect and lead right to the restaurant. The atmosphere is simple, very much an El Salvadorean laod back place. The buffet has about seven items, both starters and entrees to choose. The flavor is good. There are juice drinks as well. Very cheap. We spent $4.10 on two big lunches and a juice drink.

Pros: Good variety. Lots of protein choices (gluten and

Cons: Not much in regards to vegetables (only a side sal

Decent food, good price!

The food is set out in buffet style, you pay for what you choose. I went for 1/2 portions of four different items so as to taste more different things - the green crepes (rolled with a cheese filling) were my favourite. Overall I would say the food was good, but nothing special. The price was good at $2.70 for my meal, including a juice.

Small Place with Local Vegetarian Food

Yep...lots of stuffed veggies here and vegetarian versions of other Salvadoran dishes. There were about 12 different dishes (mains and sides combined) to choose from the lunch counter--about half were vegan. There is a disadvantage though--the food is a little too salty--but otherwise the food is of moderate quality (the other 2 vegetarian places in San Salvador that I tried were better).

Pros: affordable, Salvadoran food w/o the meat

Cons: too salty
