Attention, this is a traditional bakery with a great choice of well labeled vegan options (so not everything is vegan), even during the week.
Read moreIf there is something specific you want in decent quantity, then it's best to reserve in advance via there website.
The taste of the 'koffiekoeken' is great, I had the same feeling, as I used to have, when I ate the non-vegan 'koffiekoeken'.
These products are really a good transition for more cruelty free products and showing that there is nothing you have to give up on when you go vegan.
I've a dream that one day, their proposal will be the standard in all bakeries.
A must try, mainly to experience what they can make as vegan alternatives!
Unfortunately, quite unique in The Netherlands!

So many choices, all so delicious and the staff is very kind. Definitely recommend. They also have a webshop and ship throughout the Netherlands.

I loooove Dutch Vegan Bakery / Het Zaanse Bakkertje. Their vegan snacks, desserts and breads are amazing. We're incredibly lucky to have this traditional bakery making so many vegan treats.
