Had dinner at Duni, Minca - Edit
Loved the plantain chips, the two types of Arepas (Mexicano and Falafel), and the closing vegan chocolate banana bread/muffin.
Read moreThe layout of the cafe included a small shop; think water bottle holders, essential oils and oracle cards that you can browse.
Would love to visit again!

Good choice for vegans - Edit
Duni offer some dishes with tofu which is a nice relief from falafel. I enjoyed the scrambled tofu sandwich and it was quite big too. They only had coconut milk for drinks when I was there, but my cappuccino was pretty good. I found the chocolate bread a little dry.

We are here multiple times during our stay. The avocado toast is good, both soups are delicious! They also do a menu del dia which is sometimes vegan but we didn’t try it.

Pros: Friendly service, Delicious food, Some staff speak English which is helpful
Cons: A little on the pricey side but it is Minca

‼️Things to improve or to watch out for:
Read moreThere were plenty of ants walking in the dessert display and on the desserts itself. -- check before eating.
🍔 Vegetariana (without cheese) 29k
Homemade bread, delicious crispy patty. This Burger was awesome from beginning to end. As a side I've chosen patatas and it came with tasty mini potatoes.
If they would add ketchup as a salsa I would be in heaven.
Definitely a recommendation!
🥪 Sandwich Vegano 23k
Comes with scrambled Tofu and had a great taste. Portions wise it's not too much so when you're hungry choose something else.
🧁 Almond white chocolate Muffin 13k
Moist, soft, delicious. What a great piece of tastyness. They'll heat it up for you.
🧁 Chocolate Muffin 13k
Also absolutely great with a chocolate core. Heated up as well

would return - Edit
We had the chocolate cake and the Mexican arepa. The cake was so yum, crispy, warm chocolaty; one of the better cakes I’ve had in a while. The flavors of the Mexican arepa complimented each other well, subtle and tasty. I recommend coming here, it is a bit pricey though.

Pricy but delicious - Edit
The decor is really cute and the food is delicious. We had the Mexican/Aztec arepa with more avo to sub the cheese, and a piece of chocolate bread/cake that was heated before arriving to the table. I also purchased 2 books from their shop. I would recommend. 📚 🍃 🫓 🍰

Cute place - Edit
This is a small place conveniently located a little away from the main road behind the church. There are not many places for vegetarians in Minca so this was good find.
Read moreWe had a soup and a Mexican arepa. The soup was good and not too salty (my preference). The Mexican arepa was a mix of beans and other items on a home made arepa. Tasted good but tourist prices.
They are also do a vegetarian meal of the day for 22,000 COP which on last visit was a soup, small salad, white rice and a lentil cake(?). Menu of day no longer came with juice.
There some seating at the back now just past the toilet. The seating at the front for some reason has quite a few flies buzzing around.

We had the vegan arepa and enjoyed it. It was a good enough portion to be satisfied, but still leave room for the huge slice of banana chocolate cake/bread that we had afterwards. Loved it! The coffee was a bit too strong for our taste.

Delicious—with one weird service issue - Edit
Great food and so many options! Chill music and seating, too. I went twice.
Read moreOne annoying experience, though: the second time I went I ordered a salad that offers a side of bread or an arepa. I asked for the arepa, but they served me some thick corn tortillas (I think arepa bread?). I was confused—I thought it might just be a part of the meal they didn’t mention—but the arepa never came. When I finally went to clarify they said “well, the menu says ‘bread OR arepa,’” implying it was theirs to choose. Not sure if it was just different norms or if they were trying to get out of making the arepa.
FeniLu
Thick corn tortilla sounds exactly like arepa, hehe. Arepas come in many shapes and forms... ;)

Could be better - Edit
Didnt get the hype personally. I think my main issue was the quantity for the price because for the size of the sandwich we were served and for the price it just wasnt worth the money. There was nothing inherently erong flavorwise but it was very plane with very few ingredients. Service was average but again by colombian standards perhaps a bit cold
