very good real Vietnamese food - Edit
We stopped in Uong Bi on the way to Hanoi and thought we wouldn't find anything to eat here but stumbled on this big vegetarian restaurant. We were the only customers because we came early and were hungry from cycling all day. The menu is in Vietnamese but the owner speaks English and he was very helpful. He offered to prepare us some dishes with ingredients that we liked (tofu, noodles and morning glory). The food came quickly and was so good that we ordered seconds of everything. In total we paid 240k dong for 6 dishes. They don't offer mock meat but just simple and very well prepared vegetable, rice, soup and noodle dishes. Definitely worth a stop if you're stranded there!
