Last haggis roll - Edit
I really enjoyed the warm haggis roll with potato and green salad. They also had vegan soup (tomato), carrot cake and plant milks.
Read moreI was slightly alarmed though at 11:55am that it was the last one and feel a bit sad for any vegans that may have arrived later although it is quiet at this time of the year it's a good job I wasn't with my partner and only 1 haggis roll available 😆 (we would probably have had to eat the pot of hummus that is always in the car just in case 😆).
Also on a sad note deer stalking takes place here from Oct to March so some might not want to support this place.
Pros: Tasty , warm and came with vegan potato salad, Nice clean pretty cafe, Eco friendly and enjoyed the walks
Cons: Deer stalking on th estate, Only 1 haggis roll left before lunch, Tomato soup I don't like (but it changes)

Nice stop with food options. - Edit
Food was good. Nice stop traveling by from Loch Ness area to isle of skye. The rewilding center and exhibits were interesting too. (Though in terms of veganism, true rewilding would be getting rid of animal agriculture!). Has wifi, happy to use to see our cat back home eating breakfast!

Always agree with Chris Packham - Edit
Stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a rewilding experience and had three meals provided. Breakfast is standard continental but has vegan options clearly provided. Lots of good options for lunch including several vegan rolls, pizza and soup and all salads are vegan too. All the evening meals are vegan and included lovely cottage pie and vegetable stew. Was the only vegan in my group but heard no complaints from anyone else! Also really appreciate a cafe that doesn't charge extra for non-dairy milks. If only you went fully vegan it would be a 5 star review!

Tasty vegan lunch - Edit
We had a lovely lunch with a vegan haggis roll and a vegan spicy sausage roll, both can come with a side of salad. We also had the soup of the day: spinach pea soup. All made from fresh ingredients and freshly made. Wide selection of nice teas. All within the Rewilding center, beautifully set up and worth supporting.

Good vegan options in cafe - Edit
We stayed here for 2 nights. The included continental breakfast is very basic, just cereals and pastries. No fresh fruit besides a fruit salad. If you pre advise that you are vegan they will get some raspberry croissants which were very nice, so my breakfasts were raspberry croissant, toast and cereal. Would have liked more fruit or salad.
Read moreThe cafe here is open to the public and has very good choices. Different sausage rolls and pastries. The salads (coleslaw and potato salad) was vegan too which was nice. They did not have any vegan ice cream unfortunately.
Overall, I would recommend this place. The staff are friendly and the cafe options are good. There are lovely walks around the estate.
Pros: Good options , Nice staff , Nice walks

Nice vegan sausage roll! - Edit
I got a lovely vegan sausage roll after a walk around some of their footpaths. They had two different vegan sausage rolls and they come with a salad of which there are a few choices, I chose the chickpea one.
Read moreThey didn’t have any vegan cakes or sweet treats sadly but did have vegan vanilla ice cream.

Cafe at the rewilding centre - Edit
We had access to a free tour here for rewilding day, which included a talk, a tour of the nursery and free drinks and cake at the cafe. It’s a really great site & company that’s supporting tree planting and reintroduction of important species back into the highlands. I really want to visit again to walk across the estate and to go on one of their residential programmes.
Read moreWe had some great oat milk chai lattes (use minor figures) and chocolate and carrot cake slices. Food options were labelled as vegan. We were there late in the afternoon so wasn’t as sure about the lunch options but have since heard from friends that they do offer savoury vegan options like haggis rolls and salad
