Creative Vegan Fusion in a Cozy Setting 😄 - Edit
We came here for lunch, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated—cozy, modern, and on the smaller side. We tried several dishes, including the mapo tofu hummus, cauliflower croquettes, Tom Yum wonton soup, mushroom risotto, and the masala cake with coconut ice cream.
Read moreThe menu had a fun twist on traditional Asian dishes, and everything was plated beautifully. Our favorite was definitely the cauliflower croquettes, though they did have that classic mouth-tingling Sichuan pepper sensation, which takes some getting used to. The Tom Yum wonton soup was also delicious and full of flavor.
For dessert, the masala cake with coconut ice cream was excellent—one of the highlights of the meal, and something we would absolutely order again. The drinks were also very nice and paired well with the food.
Overall, a creative plant-based spot with unique fusion dishes and a great vibe.

Menu was small but still had decent options. The food was a bit salty but had some decent flavor. The tiramisu was excellent and I would recommend getting that if you come here

Blown away - Edit
I’ve been recommended Duli more times than any other place in SH. So with Fortunate Vegan now closed, I made the trip out and gave it a go… and as such, I think Duli has won my heart. The food is incredible, with the flavours balanced and textures perfect for each dish. I bought the vinegar peanuts to nibble whilst waiting for my partner to arrive, and they’re devilishly moreish. My iced lemon coffee had a strong flavour—which is to be said for all the food. I don’t like subtle flavours very much and I was pleasantly surprised at how sharp the food tasted here. The mushroom skewers were wonderfully sweet, in particular. My partner said this curry is one of his favourites he’s had. I had the risotto and that was solid, too. Honestly, I just wish I had room for dessert! Delicious Duli 💙

Chinese Flavors with a Twist - Edit
We really enjoyed all the dishes! The standout was definitely the mapo tofu hummus — at first I thought, “I’m not going to order hummus, I want something different.” But I decided to give it a shot because of the great reviews, and I’m so glad I did. It’s such a delicious twist on the classic — highly recommend!
Read moreI’m not usually into desserts, but the tiramisu was seriously good too.
The staff were super friendly and spoke great English. Prices were on the higher side (more like European levels), but so was the quality — totally worth it.
We had an excellent experience at Duli!
Pros: Creative dishes, Cozy atmosphere

High-end food, without the high-end prices - Edit
It's only a small space, but it squeezes in an enormous amount of character and sophistication, and feels like it's not far short of fine dining - at the same time as being completely unpretentious, and feeling perfectly okay to walk in wearing shorts and quietly melt in the corner.
Read moreBeautiful and well planned menu, with full English descriptions, very friendly staff who speak great English, and super efficient air conditioning. And did I mention the mapo tofu hummus? Yes please, I'll have that every day.
Pros: Mapo tofu hummus, Sophisticated space, with great air conditioning, Really lovely staff

Great vegan Shanghai experience - Edit
Small to medium size restaurant. I came at lunch time. It’s tourist friendly with real menus with English translations instead of QR codes, staff spoke good English. I had the green detox smoothie, Pani Puri, cauliflower curry and mapo tofu hummus and tiramisu. I really enjoyed everything I ordered but the hummus dish I had really stood out for me.

Absolutely Delicious - Edit
I went on a cold February night and got a seat at the window chairs (luckily without a reservation). The place is very small and cozy and I ordered soup, an oyster mushroom skewer, and a warm tea blend. I loved all of it and would come back for their selection of comfort food and healthy vegan Chinese fusion options

Fusion style with amazing flavours - Edit
Menu with a variety in flavours and style of cuisine, but the choice is not too big or overwhelming.
Read moreThe dishes I had had distinct and creative flavours. Ingredients seemed high quality and loads of vegetable based options rather than fake meat which I love! If you can, chose the mushroom skewers. They are spicy and flavourful but come with a delicious creamy tahini based sauce which balances out the spice. So good!!
The dessert options were also great, I highly recommend the chocolate cake. It was so light and the raspberry sauce was refreshing.
Important to note, there are no toilets. The closest are public toilets which were pretty disgusting so be prepared!
Pros: Cosy, stylish interior, Friendly service, Creative flavours
Cons: No toilets

We really enjoyed all we ate at Duli. They even helped us customise a few dishes to gluten and alliums free dietary requirements. The manager was extra helpful and even escorted us to the taxi back to the hotel!

Creative and unique dishes! - Edit
The salad and cauliflower bites as well as the snack chickpeas were phenomenal! The seaweed pesto pasta was a bit strange but I’d say it’s personal taste and we simply werent used to the fishy flavour. The hot chocolate was amazing too. Quite pricey but worth it😄
