Beautiful evening dinner - Edit
For our group of 7, a dinner at Dulcisinfundo was magnificent. We made a reservation one day ahead, and enjoyed a drink from the bar as we watched the evening light across the wall of the city. Massimo was very welcoming, and was happy to point out all of the vegan options on the menu. Dinner was a highlight of our trip.

A Vegan-Safe Haven in San Gimignano - Edit
We were genuinely surprised by Dulcisinfundo — not only because of the excellent quality of the food, but also for its beautiful setting and great location. What really stood out, though, was the kindness and professionalism of Massimo, the owner. From the very first moment we told him we were vegan, he made us feel completely at home.
Read moreWe happened to visit during a holiday period for his team, so the vegan options were more limited than usual. Even so, we had the chance to enjoy three outstanding dishes that truly impressed us — enough to leave us eager to come back for one of his vegan events in the future.
We sincerely wish Massimo all the best in his transition towards a more vegan-friendly kitchen, and we believe this restaurant has a very bright future ahead.
Pros: Top quality food, Historical Setting, Friendlyness of the team
Cons: still few vegan options on menu

Vegan prix fixe - Edit
Stumbled upon this restaurant and saw them offering vegan only 4/5 course lunch and dinner on Fridays. They are hoping to become fully vegan in 2026. The food was exceptional.

Pleasant surprise! - Edit
We stumbled into this restaurant and were just planning to have a drink. We noticed they had a vegan appetizer on the menu, so we decided to try it. The staff was so friendly and welcoming - we told them we are vegan and they explained what they could create for us. It all sounded great so we decided to order lunch. They were out of the appetizer but created a vegan pasta dish for us. They also had a chickpea pattie dish on the menu which we ordered (I don’t know if this is always vegan or if they modified it for us so you should ask when ordering). Everything was outstanding!!! They have their own organic olive oil which they produce which was delicious. There are also two vegan wine options on the menu. I had the red and it was fantastic. Another bonus is the view from in front of the restaurant is breathtaking.
