2025 Vegan Chef Challenge Review - Edit
This year's entry for the Twin Cities Vegan Chef Challenge was a classic comfort dish—Vegan Spaghetti & Meatballs. The presentation was simple and appealing, and while the overall flavor profile was mild, there were some elements that could be refined further.

They appeared to be made from ground vegan protein (such as Impossible Ground Beef), but I wasn’t able to detect much seasoning, which might have enhanced their flavor. A crispier exterior—perhaps from searing or frying—could have added more depth and contrast.
The marinara sauce was enjoyable and complemented the pasta nicely. A bit more seasoning could have elevated it even further.
While spaghetti and meatballs is a familiar staple, I was hoping for a more inventive take, especially in a challenge that celebrates creativity in vegan cuisine. Nonetheless, it’s always great to see chefs exploring plant-based options, and I appreciate the effort put into crafting this dish.

Read moreThey make a great effort with the vegan options. You don't feel like you're stuck with the one vegan option when you eat here. They also participate in the vegan chef challenge, so kudos for that. They even have a vegan dessert!
Options are in every category and are clearly marked.
Patio is awesome with outdoor TV's and dogs are welcome.

Stopped in for the @tcveganchefchallenge. This dish was good, but the may have been better with added tofu. The acremade “chicken” was barely there. Very tasty though! Love that they clearly label vegan items on their menu, and are a great place to come with Omni folks 😊

Great service, cute decor, dog friendly, delicious vegan chicken sandwich and hearty filling curry dish. Recently updated menu didn't have the V symbols but the waitress knew the vegan dishes. She mentioned many coworkers were vegan and influence the menu. Great experience!
