Got the strawberry French toast cake donut. The flavors were nice! Texture was slightly too spongy. But if you’re looking for a spongy donut, this is the place to go!
Read moreThe store smelled like the oil had gotten a little too rancid / hadn’t been changed in a while. Air was heavy. (And I still wear masks inside, so it made its way through a 3M N95)

The first time I went by they were a new business and slammed during a neighborhood event, and things were pretty terrible. All the donuts my group got (vegan and not) were very undercooked because they were rushing. The coffee was thin and watery. But that’s not a fair assessment because it was probably their first rush.
Read moreWent back a second time several weeks later and it was much better but my vegan donut was still a little underdone. My friend’s gf/vegan was fine. I think they’re still working out their new business issues, and they have a lot of potential.
Verdict: Check them out and if necessary give polite, honest feedback to help them grow. Try to avoid during a rush for now if possible.
EDIT: Even when I’ve gone at off times they have been fairly inconsistent. They often run out of items and have long lag times before the next batch is ready. If you’re interested in donuts it might be worth calling to see if you can order a batch to pick up.

Update: they have definitely improved! After a rocky start (which lasted for quite a while) they now seem to have their staffing and routines down, which makes everything run smoother. The donuts are now cooked properly and they don’t have trouble keeping stock on the shelves. The last time I went I tried the vegan strawberry donut and it was pretty good. Not amazing but enjoyable!

Delicious donuts - Edit
So happy to see a new local donut shop with some vegan options! Their mochi donut was vegan & gluten free and was absolutely delicious (February flavor: lemon) The pumpkin apricot was also delicious. Very nostalgic of an OG non vegan donut!
