You order at the counter and sit yourself. I ordered the falafel plate with a side of green beans and fried okra. I was assured the okra was vegan at the counter. Also ordered pita bread and hummus, they gave us complimentary pita chips as well! You do have to ask what is vegan because it’s not labeled.

Best Falafels - Edit
What a wonderful spot! The food was fresh, and the falafels were some of the best we have had in years. D, the owner, was a treat to talk to. As others have also mentioned, the hummus was fantastic.

We were visiting waco for the day and stopped by for lunch. The owner was at the register and is very knowledgeable about what is vegan on his menu. I had the falafel plate with hummus and Lebanese salad. The falafel is made from scratch and tastes delicious. The vegetables were fresh and flavorful. They're aren't as many options as there are at other Mediterranean restaurants but I was happy with what I ate.

Although not entirely vegan there are enough options for you to have a filling, delicious vegan meal. The falafel wrap was very tasty. Everything is made fresh. A bit out of the way, but not too far. Steady flow of customers.

D's is out of the way for lots of Wacoans, and it definitely doesn't look like much when you step inside. The food, however, is delicious. I love getting their hummus, which is rich and smooth, and of course the falafel wrap. Even my mom, a staunch omnivore, kept asking me for bites.
