Good!

The smoothie bowl was good! Enjoyed the vibe and music. The lychee juice was way too sweet! Also tried the mango sticky rice

Amazing food and excellent music!

The food was really good! Very good taste, very Thai taste, very authentic! The service was super friendly, super nice and, of course we loved the espresso made with their precious coffee machine 😊 what we also loved was the playlist! It is excellent.
Definitely recommend it!

Amazing vegan food! Amazing place!

Would’ve given it 5 if I could. Amazing little place with loads of options and absolutely delicious food. Staff are lovely and accommodating. Great little spot to watch the world go by too. Had rice dishes with the best fake pork I’ve ever tasted, good coffee and a sublime Oreo cookie made fresh to order. Cannot recommend enough.

Pros: Delicious food, Great vibe and staff, Cheap

Cons: No cons

Good food, high prices and sadly medicore service

Cool surrounding and nice Ambiente.
The food was really good but sadly the waitress had no ambition...
As we came the music was too loud for us, we were the first customers, so we asked if she can turn it quieter, she was not happy with it. We had to ask it twice and we get an annoying Look.
There are 5 vegan options, no dessert for vegans.

Pros: Nice ambiente, Some vegan options , 2 vegan milk

Cons: Pricier

Fresh tasty food

This restaurant is definitely one of the more expensive ones so I was even more surprised that all of the vegan dishes are below 200 Baht.
I came here twice. Once I ordered Fried Tempeh stir fry with cashews and once the deep fried banana blossom. If you've never had banana blossom before you should definitely try it here. So flavorful and everything tasted so fresh. I ordered extra rice for both dishes but for the banana blossom it wasn't necessary at all. It was so filling.

They also have a little shop so you can look around there while waiting for you food. The service is a bit slow unfortunately.

Also if you stay at the AHA Cozy Lanta Hostel you get 10% off

Vegan options and nice place to chill

Has some vegan options and the place is nice to spend some time. The Smoothie Bowl was a bit small for the price, but the taste of everything else was good/average.

Pros: Some vegan options, Nice Location/Athmosphere

Cons: Expensive/small portion

Fresh and delicious

Ate here every day! Easy to communicate dietary needs, food was fresh and generous portions. Pricier than other less touristy areas, but given the area it wasn't too bad. Coffee drinks were also delicious.

Pros: Lots of veg and vegan options, menu is clear

Cons: Not a 50 baht meal

Good, but slightly misleading

We ate at Drunken Sailors twice while we were in Koh Lanta, and while they do have a selection of vegan options, the menu is slightly misleading. They say at the top to ask for dishes to be made vegan, but in reality only 1 or 2 actually can be. We tried to order a green curry, but when we asked for it to be vegan they said that it wasn't possible because they added shrimp paste into all their curries and couldn't take it out.

That being said everything under the vegetarian section is vegan, and if you visit you should definitely try the battered banana blossom, it was for sure the highlight of the menu.

Pros: Selection of vegan options, Western and Thai dishes

Cons: Not all items can be made vegan, Sandwiches were a bit bland

Quite nice food but expensive and not true to description..

Went to Drunken Sailor after hearing “anything could be made vegan” - after a week of traditional and delicious Thai food we fancied some fusion cooking. Only the curries and noodles could actually be veganised with soy protein so we were only left with a couple of options - I ordered the quinoa burger only to be told after it had cheese in it, so I switched to the veggie bahn mi - it was ok but after taking the sriracha Mayo out to make it vegan nothing else was added instead so was quite dry. Would go here at a push nice decor etc but food was below average and not really a vegan place and pretty much double in price to everywhere else we have eaten.

Pros: Nice decor , Vegan options

Cons: Not many vegan options , Expensive , Description not true of place

Disappointing, not fresh, few veggie options

Went here for dinner after reading good reviews but we were ultimately disappointed. The prices are ok and the atmosphere/decoration very pleasant but the food was poor in taste and quality. The veggie burger is just a potato/carrot pattie with some vegetables added and non-fresh lettuce. A sandy cucumber end was placed as a garnish. Worse was the vegetable tofu stir fry, which had rotten cabbage pieces. It seems that there was a general disregard for using fresh ingredients. When the cabbage issue was raised with the manager, she tried to suggest that the black rotten part was a result of the wok preparation, but when she saw we weren’t buying it offered to replace the dish. We chose to just return it which she was nice about.

Pros: Beautiful cozy atmosphere

Cons: Not fresh ingredients, Not many good veggie options

I did not like vegan burger there.

Tried to visit the place for two times, but both of those times it was closed for couple hours and I didint have the time to wait. When I was able to visit the restaurant, I ordered vegan burger. It was not good at all, I suggest to skip it. It looked and tasted like convenience food and didnt have no sauce in it at all. It was just terrible. Maybe other dishes are better.

Pros: many vegan options and they are marked clearly on

Cons: awful burger

nice food and atmosphere

After a week of thai dishes we wanted to eat something else again. We ordered 2 fresh fruit teas and burgers. The homemade coleslaw is amazing, the veggie burger was nice and the amthosphere is great. We enjoyed it a lot!

Very chill place

Even though the food is good (however nothing too special), I mostly came back because of the great atmosphere and people. Plus - cats will most likely accompany you :)

Lovely restaurant worth riding from far

Drunken Sailors is one of my favourite restaurants in Koh Lanta, worth the ride from other parts in the island. The atmosphere is great even though they are located by the main road. The place looks great and they have the best samosas, crispy and tasty. Other dishes are not that special, but good anyway and sometimes it´s nice to have their veggie burger and coconut soup.

I always order ice latte with mocha or cinnamon.

They also sell some books and nice bags and t-shirts.

Pros: The best samosas, Lovely atmosphere

Cons: Could have more special vegan foods

Amazing food

I visited the Drunken Sailor for diner tonight and was amazed how uncomplicated we could order veganized Pad Thai and Green Curry with rice. Already in their English menu you can find the statement that they understand vegan preparation without fish sauce, egg or oyster sauce. The meals where very fresh and yummy. Atmosphere is nice and wifi for free. Staff very friendly.

Pros: English menu, easy vegan options, atmosphere, free wifi

Goed maar niet speciaal

Veel vegetarische opties. Het eten is goed, maar niet bijzonder. Helaas geen tofu in de vegetarische curry. De samosa was heerlijk. De bediening is vriendelijk. Duur voor wat je krijgt.

Pros: Bediening, Ruime keuze

Cons: Duur, Gewoontjes

Rejuvenating!

During the "low season" on Ko Lanta is was a bit tiring searching for veg food that we felt confident in being animal suffering free. We stopped by Druken Sailors and were so excited I wanted to jump up and down. Not only were items clearly labeled "vegan" but many many options were vegan friendly AND it was open. The atmosphere in the restaurant is SUPER cute- hammock swings and movie rentals. One of the best juices/smoothie I've ever had in my life.

Pros: labeled vegan food, relaxed, cute decor

Cons: tourist prices
