Lovely in every way!

I was taken aback by the beautiful, thoughtful, and delicious vegan afternoon “Art Tea” at the Merrion Hotel. I went with non-vegan family, but the vegan options were far from an afterthought. The initial tray was stacked high with delicious finger sandwiches (including an eggplant BLT on a beet brioche bun that I’ll be thinking of for years to come), a selection of delightful cakes, and fresh scones with vegan clotted cream, jam, and lemon curd, along with an extensive menu of teas. The second course was complete with three more select desserts, including vegan meringue and cheesecake. The staff was very kind and attentive and knew everything there is to know about the vegan options. This was definitely pricey but worth every penny for a stunning, fantastic afternoon tea that truly couldn’t have been better!
