It has a vegan / vegetarian menu - Edit
The restaurant was a bit quiet and service was ok. I hate giving an establishment with a vegan menu only three stars however the food was fair, the sechwan sauce was nice but the tofu pretending to be chicken tastes like a sponge. The tofu udon noodles were a bit tasteless as was the fried bean sprouts.

Ordered a takeaway from here. Min spend £35 for delivery (£7 charge) at the time but we collected as too far out of range. Lots of vegan options including mock meats. Was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful on the phone.

Fantastic vegan offering - Edit
One of the things I'd written off when I became vegan was being able to get a decent Chinese, but I heard Dragon Pearl was great. Looking at the paper menu I couldn't see any vegan options, but I called up and the lady was very helpful, knowledgeable, and put me at ease that what I would be ordering was in fact vegan. The food was fantastic.
Read moreOver the course of three years we've ordered from Dragon Pearl more than 25 times and have never been disappointed. Having a toddler we've unfortunately never been to the restaurant itself but from pictures it looks lovely, and we hope to make a visit soon.
Delivery is always on time and on several occasions it's arrived before the estimated delivery time frame determined in-app.
The food itself is delicious and we were struck by the wealth of vegan options and even some both gluten free and vegan options (the stir fry rice noodles with bean sprouts are magic and you can't stop).
We've tried several dishes including the veggie spring rolls, veggie chicken skewers (comes with satay sauce), Kung po veg chicken, veg chicken with peppers in chilli and black bean sauce, veg Szechuan style chicken, sweet and sour chicken and some of their vegan beef-style equivalents. We've never been disappointed with a dish.
I've found the app to be really useful, especially for checking what's vegan (the bulk of the vegan options are in the "tofu" and "vegetarian" sections, but you can find vegan and veggie options in some of the other categories too). It'd be great if there were veggie/vegan/gf filters, but this isn't a deal-breaker.
I would highly recommend Dragon Pearl to
anyone craving satisfying and moreish Chinese food with or without meat substitutes.

Best vegan Chinese I have had. Particularly good black bean sauce. Make sure to explicitly state you are vegan when ordering online or in person. Plenty of options. Can order take away online or over the phone
