Unknowledgeable staff :(

Staff member didn鈥檛 know what vegan was and confused it for gluten free which just makes you question the preparation techniques and cross contamination possibly.

Pros: Lots of vegan milks , Vegan options , Tasty, fast and fresh

Cons: Expensive for what you get , Coffee is bitter and had a strange aftertaste , Staff don鈥檛 know much about allergens 馃毄

Great housemade milks

Dr Smood

Huge selection of plant milks, which are made by Dr. Smood. Lots of coffee and tea options, as well as pressed juices and smoothies. They also offer vegan food, but I only had room for tea and pressed juice. Definitely worth checking out. Lovely interior.

Fine (but cramped) branch of Dr Smood

Dr Smood is a small chain of casual eateries that focuses on health-oriented foods, and it has plenty of vegan choices. The food here is not cheap, but it is very healthy and tasty. This particular branch is located in midtown, which is one of the more cramped, unpleasant parts of NYC in general--the restaurants here cater mostly to the lunchtime business crown. This branch of Dr Smood is no exception--there are places to sit here, but the sense is that they would rather you take it out to eat, as is the case with most restaurants in the immediate area.

Pros: Healthy and tasty, Good for quick meal

Cons: Not for relaxed, elegant dining, Not cheap

Yummy midtown option for breakfast or lunch

While in midtown for the day I had a great breakfast (protein avocado toast). I returned for lunch and had the gazpacho soup and vegan sandwich. Delicious! Would love to see a branch near Wall Street.

great place

Very stylish place with highly motivated staff. Their food has colours corresponding to power, health and so on. And the salads we had were very nice.

Amazing place!

Love love love this place! Especially their raw oatmeal and salads. Definitely a place to return. Only 4* because I wish they had more vegan options.

good healthy vegan options

Lots of good vegan options here, including mylks. Everything is made to be very healthy and functional. I had quinoa breakfast porridge which was very nice and felt healthy and filling too!
