Great one-stop vegan store!

This store is a great one-stop shop for veggie's in Berlin and offers a great alternative to the commercial 'Veganz', a vegan supermarket in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin.

The range of groceries is amazing and includes everything you would expect to find in your local store, including: fresh fruit and vegetables; loose beans, lentils, grains, seeds etc.; jarred and bottled goods (such as oils, spreads, sauces etc.); snacks (such as crisps/chips, biscuits etc.); packaged ready made/processed items and freezer items (such as vegan 'meat' and 'cheese' products, pastry, ice cream, frozen veg etc.); and loose nuts and dried fruits.

There is also a really good section of cosmetics and cleaning products, along with pet food, literature and t-shirts/accessories.

There is also a small 'cafe corner' where you can drink a cold soft drink or beer or have a hot drink, and there is also a small selection cakes and snacks.

One great thing about the store is the fact that a lot of the produce is sold loose and unprocessed, meaning that you can bring your own paper bags/containers and cut down on packaging.

Also, most of the things they sell are organic and fair-trade. The place is run as a collective and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It is conveniently located really closly to the other vegan spots "Cafe Vux" and "Trattoria Ponte Verde" in 'Rixdorf'.

Pros: They have all you need, Nice staff , Reasonable prices

Best grocery I've ever been to

I love everything about them.
You can also grab coffee and pastries and sip at the park across the street.

Pros: all vegan , seems like a horizontal cooperative, coffee from anarchist farmers

Cons: Expensive peanuts, Absence of dirt-cheap basics

Jetzt alle hin da und kaufen!!!

Pros: Alles vegan, Super Auswahl, Preise

Gut sortierter Veganer Laden

Hat nicht nur ein tolles Angebot sondern wird auch als Kollektiv betrieben.

Pros: Angebot, Nette Beratung, Viel unverpackte Ware.

Cons: Laden könnte größer sein.

So much love! Seit Jahren mein Stammladen.

My favorite shop in the neighborhood, have been going here for years and love everything about it: run collectively, amazing, carefully selected selection, friendly staff and all the extra goodies your vegan heart desires. Thank You!

Best selection

Even though this place is smaller than others, it has a large and diverse selection of foods including fruits and vegetables as well as baked goods and sandwiches. Also has a large selection of unpackaged goods.

Pros: Collective, Selection

Cons: Opening hours

Bester Laden

Pros: All vegan, Great staff, tasty coffee

Great all-vegan one stop shop

You will find everything you need here: vegetable milk, legumes, nuts (for self-bottling), chilled goods, fresh vegetables (many from the region), coffee & teas, fresh bread, baking ingredients, drinks, snacks, cosmetics, cleaning products, and much more, as well as information about vegan life - and projects in the neighbourhood.

Small independent vegan store - operating despite Corona

This store is rather small, but they have a wide selection of goods nevertheless. There's fresh produce, tofu, vegan cheese, tea, chocolate, frozen foods and even cleaning products!

According to their concept, they aim to offer mostly organic, fair-trade and local products.

They are in operation despite the current Corona crisis in Berlin, and ask for a maximum of 7 customers to enter at once, while providing facilities to wash hands.

The smell inside the store reminds me of those health food stores (Reformhaus), which used to exist before the organic food became popular and larger companies such as Biocompany, Denns, or Denree appeared. (Not negative just a nostalgic comment😄)

amazing

I am very happy that this shop is existing.
ppl bring empty jars from home and fill them with dry fruits or grains from bulk bars. this effort. I am very much happy to know some ppl to make effort for their believe or wish for our planet and future. it is super peaceful and i got encouraged. made keep some hope still. and fresh veggies are so yummy and I want to try those hand made smoked tofu or hand made washmittel or many things I never see at big chain bio shop!! exciting at all !! some juice I dont want to tell to ppl, cause it is crazy yummy so.

So much choice and no label checking

There's a lot of goodies crammed inside this little shop, with plenty of choice across sweet snacks, dried savoury goods and jars, alcoholic and soft drinks, cheeses, meat substitutes, pet food, books and lots more. There's also a weigh-and-pay station to bring your own container and stock up on dried produce, as well as baked goods on the counter. There seemed to be a mix of the familiar, widely available brands, alongside independent or locally made items. And of course, it's great not to have to check every label to see if it's vegan! Nice, handy little place.

Pros: All vegan, Lots of variety, Independent/local goods

My favorite vegan place in Berlin : huge choices, vegan, mostly local & organic

The place is owned by the people who use it on a regular basis. You can find food, books, goodies and cakes.

just a remark on this. the shop is operated as a workers' collective - their association owns the shop, but that is completely disconnected from private property. the concept gets confused with membership stores sometimes, but doesn't have anything to do with that.

lovely store

Cute little shop run by a vegan collective with nice selection of vegan goodies. Reasonable prices. Love the Booja-booja ice-cream they sell :)
Cool concept and alternative to big markets, which deserves to be supported :)

Great vegan grocery place

The feeling of being able to buy anything in the store without checking the label is amazing! Tons of amazing products (a lot of them local or made by independent producers), a pet food/treat section, fresh produce, and a nice section with books, t-shirts and other similar materials.

Nice looking baked goods for sale at the checkout counter but I haven't tried any (yet!)

Good Selection

They have a nice selection of stuff, including freshly baked pastries.

Compared to Veganz, I noticed that they sell a few artisanal products from small manufacturers.

Good place to check when you are in the area!

Pros: good selection, friendly staff

Cons: none

big selection

This place is awesome. Nice staff, the same price or cheaper than other health food/vegan places (cheaper than Denns or biocompany AND you're supporting a small local business). Good opening hours and big selection. Their fresh food is nice and they're next to quite a few vegan places to eat so you can get in your shopping before lunch or dinner. Only complaint is that they sometimes run out of certain products and don't replenish often.

Pros: selection, price (cheap), nice staff

yayayay

a little gem hidden in the heart of Neukölln. Their bulk nuts and grains are the cheapest in town and when having a membership card (which costs 5-15€/month) even cheaper! a wide range of anything you'd need as well as the peanut butter cups Veganz doesn't stock anymore. sadly only one version of tempeh but apart from that an amazing addition to the range of vegan shops in the area

Super lovely and cute!

This shop has a lovely wholesome feel to it that you really don't get somewhere like Veganz. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and the entire shop was packed with an amazing selection of products! There was a lot here I've never seen anywhere else! Also they have vegan croissants which i got a few of and are amazing!

Pros: Friendly Staff , CROISSANTS!!!
