Amazing!

The food here is really good, one of the best falafel plates I’ve ever had.

100 % vegan falafel and hummus

This place is run by a lady who is super nice and very sympathetic, she speaks English. There are basically just two meals - falafel and hummus, both are vegan despite the vegetarian signs.
The falafel bun consists of carrot, cucumber, cauliflower, two types of cabbages and of course falafel.
It is at reasonable price and super delicious.
Located around the corner from Sparkasse and Bistro in the pedestrian area.
Small place with few tables. Takeaway possible.

Pros: Great location at the old bazar walkway, Deliciousness , Sympathetic staff

Cons: Limited choice

Hummus plate was so good!

Small place on the end of the busiest street in Ohrid - the place is not that pretty, but the food is amazing. It was packed with people when i went there, so i guess it's quite popular and 100% worth waiting.

Hummus and falafels were really good and fresh. The sandwich was quite big and tasty but I expected something more from this place.

Falafel was good

I was strongly recommended to visit this place if I am in Ohrid. Falafel was good,
I would like to see some messages on the walls there as well. It helps in creating the atmosphere.

Very delicious

As the only vegetarian option in ohrid we were more than surprised. All the served meals were 100% vegan and we both got more than full. The waitress was very friendly as well. The prices were low, the falafel and hommus plate with a soft drink was about 200 denar (3,30€).

Amazing food

I loved this place. I went twice to eat there and food was amazing. Fresh veggies and very tasty falafel. I would recommend to anyone.

So DELICIOUS

We have been several times to this place and the place never ever disappointed us. The food is freshly made and taste AMAZING. Next to this for the quality we thought it was really cheap. Furthermore you can also take the food for ‘take away’, the times we did this the food was very well packed! We recommend this place to everyone who enjoys having a fresh (vegan)meal!

Nice falafel house

First day in Ohrid with my friends, and ofcourse Dr. Falafel is frequent as one of the first actions :)
We are all satisfied by the nice staff, delicious dishes and good-end falafel.
The only little minus is that the place is small, and can only fit a few people.
If you want a falafel in Ohrid, this is the place :)

100% delicious veg option in Ohrid

Absolutely ideal find that bills itself as vegetarian.
Small restaurant that does take away and can fit around 8 people / 3 groups in the shop.
We got the "package" which is hummus/ falafel / salad and drink for 200.
Best hummus I've ever had and tasty falafel too. Excellent value.
Wonderfully friendly staff with great English too.

Very good falafel and hummus place

Very good falafel and hummus and only vegan/vegetarian restaurant option in Ohrid at my time, but not disappointing and very friendly staff

Good but not great

I've been in this place once. I tried the falafel + hummus plate. The falafel was IMHO too oily, the hummus was good, the salad was not fresh, it's vegetable from can.
The price is very cheap. The local is small and not very clean.

Falafel and Hummus in Ohrid's centre

Falafel really delicious, spiced with good herbs. Customers can choose either Hummus or Falafel or a combination of both with salad.

Pros: Quickly prepared, good price

Cons: The shop is a little bit shabby inside

Great!

Great little place with seating area inside and outside.
Falafel with hummus and a soft drink (200 MKD). It came with a fresh and tasty salad consisting of cabbage, cauliflower, cucumber, beetroot, carrots and side bread. The falafel and hummus were delicious.
Very welcoming too!

A must try when in Ohrid

Had the meal deal thing which was 200 denar for a falafel & hummus plate with a drink. The falafel were perfectly crispy and came with a large plate of mixed salad, pickled vegetables, bread and hummus. Super fresh and filling. The bread was a bit too chewy but everything else was perfect. The lady working there was lovely too :)

Great food - kept going back

So happy this place is in Ohrid. I tried vegan options at other restaurants in the town, but they weren't filling. Dr Falafel provides excellent meals at small prices.

amazing falafels

It was so great to find a vegetarian restaurant in Ohrid (I think the whole menu is vegan). The staff are super friendly and as everyone else has mentioned the falafel and hummus are delicious. A must visit in Ohrid!

Cons: the sides were salty and the bread could be better

Great falafels for super low prices

These were one of the best falafels I've had in a long time. The hummus was absolutely delicious and the cost of the whole meal was seriously underpriced. A must if you're in Ohrid!

Great hummus

Very tasty food, low prices, friendly and kind staff.
One of the best hummus I have tasted.
Since this is the only vegan place in Ohrid, they might have more meals.

Simple but nice

Simple but nice. Not a huge range. Apparently it’s all vegan. The falafel and hummus salad is great. Only place in town

Friendly

Dr. Falafel has tasty vegan food at affordable prices, in a simple environment. Just watch out for the closing times - despite the sign on the door saying they were open late, they shut down at 8pm in April.

Good Falafel

I ate here twice while in Ohrid. The Falafel sandwich is actually in a burger kind of bun so becomes too big and unwieldy. Contents are good but didn't like the bun part so next time had only falafel with veggies and that was actually better. Veggies include cauliflower, beat, cucumbers, pickles, etc. Only place in Ohrid near lake and easily accessible. I will eat here again when in area.
