Healthy Dessert Anyone? - Edit
I found Dr Bob's about a year ago, and although we live 45 minutes away, we visit about once per month. One disclaimer is that the donuts are more cake-like than donut-like. And it seems that cinnamon creeps into all the donuts no matter which flavor. My 9-year old son LOVES the donuts and fro-yo. It's funny because he ends up putting the fresh fruit on his doyo whereas I skip the donut (which is packed with protein and good-for-you things) and end up slathering my coconut-based fro-yo (and you can't taste the coconut AT ALL) with the cashew cream whipped cream, caramel, and chocolate glaze. Oh my.
Pros: healthier than any donut shop or fro yo joint, Frozen yogurt is THE BEST, whipped cream and chocolate sauce are AMAZING
Cons: Not a fan of microwaves, Too far from my house!, Runs about $10 per person if ur a piggy like me

My New Doughnut - Edit
I love this place and it's new-concept doughnut. Though it's not your ordinary, sugar-laced, unhealthy, hole-in-the-middle doughnut (OK, maybe that tastes good), this steamed doughnut is really good, though not as sweet. The toppings really make it something special. You'll be treated like a regular the first time you stop in. Tasha and Morgan are fabulous and will answer all of your questions about this new style of doughnut and their mix as well. Try it for yourself! Oh, and the organic coffee is just the best.
Pros: Great products, Extremely friendly staff, Easy Parking
Cons: Steamed donut may not be for everyone

New Favorite Place - Edit
I just discovered this place through HappyCow and it is amazing! The owner is super nice and will give you suggestions on how to make the most amazing combination to fit your preferences! This place has donuts unlike any other I've tried! They are vegan and gluten-free and healthy! They have maca and other superfood ingredients but taste amazing! This is the first place I've tried where the donuts don't taste gluten free (you know those "Oh are these gluten free?" moments)! They a light and cakey at the same time!
They have a ton of glazes and topping to choose from including chia pudding if you are going for the jelly filled feel! And to top it all off they have vegan fro-yo to make your donut that much more amazing!
Parking is free and easy and there is extra parking in the back of the building!
Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I had it as lunch today and feel great!
P.S. I swear I don't work them, it just really is that amazing of a place!
Pros: Fresh , Reasonably Priced, Delicious
