this is now

This place has change hands a bit in the last years (I know because I deliver there every week) and it is now a hangout for the wealthy Kensington set so don't bother unless you are loaded.

good food and store

Spacious, sunny. No printed menu.
Shop goods: fresh produce, oils, nut butters, tofu, milks, grains, crackers, bread, cakes and treats, cider
The cafe offers fresh sandwiches and wraps made to order, salads, fruit/veg juices, two vegan soups (beet or carrot-coriander the day I was there).
I had a tasty, vegan, creamy-textured beet soup served with bread and veg spread.

cozy

On both occasions that we went they had a number of vegan options available including a number of sweets - cupcakes or biscuits. The chicory latte was excellent.
For lunch they offer various 'home style' dishes which were healthy and nourishing. Value for money.

Pros: cozy relaxed feel, value for money, friendly

London lentil stew

Went here several times during my last trip. Lots of vegan goodies to pic from. I had the chocolate cake witch reminded me of a very fudgey brownie, it was delightful. Tried the cauliflower curry one day and a lentil stew/soup the other, both dishes were excellent. Nothing was overly salty. It's not easy finding healthy vegan food in this part of London.

Pros: good variety, easy to find, taste

Cons: none

quick lunch

mainly a shop selling organic good. has a good selection of pre-packaged veggie snacks, ideal for lunch. salad, sushi rolls and sandwiches. have a small selection of fresh specials, and limited seating if you want to eat in. there is large park next door, so if the weather is nice the seating is plentiful either on a bench or on the grass. do nice coffee as well

Pros: nice snacks

Cons: limited seating

Grocery shop and quick lunch food

Food shop with a few tables there so you can sit and eat.
There is a section with lunch style items to eat such as Laura's Idea and Fresh! Naturally Organic. Grocery food items with a bread section and a mini fresh fruit and veg section. They have put up a little sign showing some of the nutrients in different items. Also some other household items such as cleaners available.
