Good n' Inexpensive

This is a nice casual place to meet friends for brunch, there is something for everyone. The staff are nice and the food comes out fast. I had a teriyaki tofu sandwich on gluten-free bread. It had a pretty generous portion of marinated tofu, and the maple dressing on the side salad was great.

There are not loads of super exciting vegan options to choose from, but everything is fresh, most things can be made gluten-free, and they serve Stump Town coffee.

Pros: Inexpensive , Good service , Lots of gluten-free substitutions

Cons: Menu is more geared towards omnivores

Many delicious options!

This place was so cute! I got the vegan breakfast burrito and it was delicious, and they had lots of other options (marked on the menu). Gluten free options as well if you're eating with people who have other restrictions!

Lives up to its name

It’s a cute little place and was playing great music. The tofu scramble was flavorful & included a good amount of veggies. It came with home fries and toast. I was happy they didn’t butter my toast, which some non-veg places do when you order a vegan meal from their menu.

Pros: Tasty vegan option, No butter on toast!, Good vibe

Fresh, but uneventful

If you’re in the mood for Greek or Mediterranean, go here. Otherwise it is generally uneventful menu. Owners and staff are very friendly.

Veggie friendly gem in Multnomah Village

Down to Earth Cafe is a nice family run restaurant in Multnomah Village that offers several vegetarian and vegan options and a Warm & Cozy space. The family that runs the restaurant is very friendly and provides excellent service. A tofu scramble and the vegan breakfast burrito are both very good.

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options

Cons: Not as many vegan options

Friendly And Affordable

This is a small family owned joint off the main strip in Multnomah Village. I had a standard egg and home fries breakfast. The meal was decent, the staff very friendly.

great food and ambiance

We are from St. Louis. Used this great app to find it (thanks happy cow!) the service was amazing and loved the decor and music. We had the tofu scramble with veg cheese and it was served super hot and yummy. Lovin the vegan friendly vibe in Portland💖🐷🐮💖

Good!

The tofu scramble here actually had flavor to it, unlike a lot of tofu scrambles I've had in restaurants, which tend to be bland. There are a lot of vegan, veg, and omni options and it seems to stay busy! I would eat here again.

Good for omnivores

I had the vegan breakfast burrito, which was okay - nothing special. The vegan smoothie was good, however. The breakfast sausage is not vegan; the server told me they have egg whites.

Decent Option if You're in the Area

I had the eggplant (vegan version) and hummus, ordered as takeout, and enjoyed both. It took perhaps ten minutes of waiting time, which seemed reasonable, and the waiter filled up my water glass a bunch of times. I would prefer to give this a rating of 3 1/2 cows.

Pros: Good service, Decent food

Cons: A bit out of the way
