Good Stop off for Basics - Edit
The other Coast Independent option. Small store with most the basics. No Bulk section, not a lot of grab and go Vegan options - but if you need the pantry fillers they have em.

Nice little shop - Edit
I picked up some protein for my trip. Some baked peas, almonds, can of bean soup, And some water and a little treat. Just right.

Nice, basic, truly independent veggish store. - Edit
Even though the selection is basic, this is where I prefer to shop when on the Mendo coast. They may have meat, but I've never noticed it in a dozen visits. Not a huge selection of ready made stuff (frozen burritos, pizzas and such) but very mellow selection of all the basics.
Pros: Independent, Very Veg
Cons: a bit pricey
