Tasty and cute place - Edit
We have been here twice during our stay in the island and have loved both times!
Read moreWe have tried their mock duck pad Thai, stir fried vegetables, club sandwich and shawarma wrap. The sandwich was a little dry but other than that all the food was really good. In particular the mock duck had a nice smoky taste.
Their smoothies are fresh and reasonably priced.
They give you a boardgame to play while you wait for your food which was great fun.
Pros: Relatively cheap , Tasty food
Cons: Was full on evening as it was fully booked😒

Delicious food - Edit
We ate there many times in our 2-nights stay in Phi Phi. Firstly because there wasn’t any other plant-based places but secondly there was delicious food. I ate fried rice with tofu and later the same but with green curry. Both were delicious. I also tried fried broccoli and cauliflowers and they were good too. Last time we visited there I ate noodles with tofu in gravy sauce (soup) and it was delicious! My friends liked their food also and the atmosphere was nice. The restaurant is cute, walls and roof covered with book covers. They also brought us some games for us to play when we waited for food. The owner said that they have eggs in the kitchen but all the foods can be made without it (=vegan).

Decent food at good prices (for Phi Phi) - Edit
Came to this restaurant and didn’t really know what to expect! It’s weird they call it vegan restaurant but it’s not vegan - so just confirm what you’re ordering is vegan and not vegetarian. The atmosphere is quite nice. The food that I tried was interesting - well more specifically the tofu wrap. It was like a lightly curried wrap with lots of cabbage - not bad but not good. It came with fries. I then had the wontons which were cool! I have never had wontons like that! Kind of like a hot version of a prawn cracker flavour wise. I came back later because Phi Phi is seriously lacking in realisable reasonable vegan options and had the pad Thai. It was amazing! Would recommend maybe ordering Thai food there and not the western food!

Good taste, okay price, slightly small portions. - Edit
The shaped rice is cute, but definitely isn't enough the smoothies are a bit small despite the tall glass, the rice isn't enough for the curry, even though that curry is also a bit small.

Amazing!! - Edit
I only ate here for three days on Phi Phi (and not just because it was the only full veg option….) the food was super yum and the service was great - staff very kind and friendly. The Thai food is particularly awesome, but it was also great to have heaps of western options if you’ve been travelling Asia for a while and are ready for a change. They have fake meat and vegan cheese which is a rare find in Thailand. I loved everything I had, but the “duck” massaman was a standout!

Really bland food, but many options - Edit
My vegan pasta was next level bland. Definitely recommend Anna's restaurant's pasta over this one. Tasted like nothing. Many options tho, but just not very tasty.

Stayed on Phi Phi for a week and we just kept coming back here.

Highly recommend the banana fruit shake 😋
The staff are absolutely lovely. They also give you games to play with as you are waiting for your food which I thought was a great idea.

I’ve been to Dow twice so far as it’s the only restaurant on Phi Phi I feel confident will serve me vegan food. On my first visit the owner (?) talked me through the menu and explained how each of the meals was vegan which I really appreciated.

Life saver on phi phi Island - Edit
They have some amazing choices on the menu. The curries are wonderful. Fries are really tasty as well. Visited 4 times during our stay on the island. The best mock meat in my opinion was chicken - Others were not as good. The mango sticky rice was ok. The juices/ shakes/smoothies they serve are very tasty. Generally I was happy with the food, but some dishes were lacking some flavour or spicyness. The good thing is they had some games to pass the time while waiting for your food.

Cosy place with loads of vegan options - Edit
I visited the Dow vegan/vegetarian restaurant twice during my Phi Phi stay – once for breakfast and again for lunch. This place is impressively well-organized. They have got photos of most of their dishes on the wall and each item on the menu is numbered. When you order, they just jot down the number – no room for mix-ups.
Read moreI gave their Tofu burger, deep-fried potato burger, Hummus & Pita bread with falafel, and Tomato spaghetti pasta a try. I must say, all of it was pretty darn delicious, and they didn't keep me waiting long. The prices seemed reasonable too. The flavors were spot on.
Now, there was one thing that made me slightly skeptical. They assured me that the mayo with the burger was vegan, but I couldn't help but wonder if it had some egg in it, judging by the taste and thickness. They do consider eggs as vegetarian here, so that might explain it.
In any case, I'd definitely recommend swinging by this place while in Phi Phi.
Pros: Well organised, Elaborate menu

Exciting to have so many vegan options - Edit
After hiking up to the view points above Koh Phi Phi, this is the place to come back down the hill and reward yourself, with so many vegan options. It was like being a kid in a candy store and this is a good place if you want mock meat instead of tofu for your vegan protein, because sometimes in Thailand it is nice to have an alternative to tofu.
