Take-out
Bakery

No frills operation. Unbranded street stall selling affordable deep fried products made with house-made dough. Offers plain dough sticks, sesame seed dough sticks and red bean paste buns. Staff said they use no egg or dairy; however, that does not mean everything is vegan so please inquire. Watch them make the dough from the street.

Great little snack stall

The friendly owner confirmed that their products don’t contain milk, eggs, or butter. I tried their red bean bun and dough stick. The red bean bun is my favourite, and it’s very affordable. While deep-fried food may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s a great option for a special treat.

Pros: Vegan, Cheap, Tasty Red Bean bun

Fresh youtiao

One of the best youtiaos i’ve ever had! Made fresh on the street so you get it warm and chewy 🤤
Highly recommend!

Dough Stick street stall, KL

No frills operation selling deep fried home made dough products. Super inexpensive at 1.20 RM for a red bean paste bun. The people working there said they don't use egg nor dairy in the dough. Watch them make the dough yourself from the street.

Pros: Seems to be all vegan, Super inexpensive

Cons: Deep fried isn't the healthiest
