The best yeast-raised donuts - Edit
I love Dough Joy! They have the best yeast-raised donuts. I prefer yeast-raised to cake donuts, and Dough Joy has such fluffy, delicious ones. We love their regular flavors, especially the Pride, strawberry milkshake, fritters, and maple bar. Their seasonal flavors are always fun. Love that everything is vegan.

We used to go to the Capitol Hill location all the time. They closed that one, so we went to the Ballard location. It's really nice! It's much bigger with more seating, and has a bathroom.

Exploring Seattle today and it was well worth the extra stop to get doughnuts, the strawberry matcha was an impulse buy and it tasted so delicious. Would stop in again the next time I'm in Seattle.

I love that the whole place was vegan!! And that there were many raised donuts (instead of just cake donuts like a lot of vegan donut places). They had a mix of classic and fun/niche flavors and coffees. I got a half dozen box and a coffee and it was all great! I especially enjoyed the French toast donut, maple bar, and plain/classic.

Stopped in finally earlier this year and was very impressed with the selection and quality of the doughnuts. Went with non-vegan friends and couple times now and they always say the doughnuts are amazing too. Seasonal flavours makes for good variety when going back. I've only been to the location in Ballard, parking has been not bad each time, never had an issue getting a seat to enjoy our doughnuts. Have always had friendly staff and the location is decorated very cute.

Dough Joy makes such good raised donuts! Light and fluffy and lots of fun flavors. Try the vanilla biscoff if you can! Unfortunately, I don't like their cake donuts quite as much, but they still taste really good.

They make fluffy airy yeast donuts with amazing flavors. So far my favorite has been the birthday cake donut and the basic B (regular glazed). I appreciate the fact that they come out with new flavors but still have a decent amount of staple flavors.
